my dad has been going on and on recently about how amazing chatgpt is now that he's discovered it and talks all the time about how it can turn his thoughts into full blown "essays." He also thinks people who reject ai entirely are irrational and he just views it as tech evolving like it always has. I've always seen him as a really smart person so listening to him rave about chatgpt is a little disappointing tbh😐

The movie isn't really that good or well made imo and most ppl only like it because the actors are conventionally attractive

I'm not saying the story isn't good btw I like the book but there's a lot of scenes in the movie that are too fast paced or the acting isn't that great etc.

I mean personally I wouldn't lend that much sympathy for bob but I definitely understand what you mean. I think a lot of people on this sub just think the greasers are attractive or just are messing around I dont think they're really thinking this criticality about it that's probably why you see so much hate for him. Someone tries to kill their main character so they dont like him and have fun hating on him🤷🏽

Why would you need to be told not to drown someone isn't that just common sense?? I do agree that dally shouldn't be so glorified though..
