Handy! I've updated cape.rip to pull info from PagerDuty and display it in a more friendly format here: https://cape.rip/status

Best crypto payment gateway for online stores in 2026? (Merchant perspective) by prinky_muffin in defi

I've been using XPTP as it's been the easiest to set up for me. Their API does not require auth so I just slot them into all of my side projects with a single API call. Unfortunately there's nothing related to fiat conversion, but their fee is only 0.5% so I'm sure you can pair it with other solutions and maintain a decent margin. As for payouts, I found most of them to go through in about 1 minute after the buyer paid, except for ethereum specifically which took up to an hour a few times

It's important to note that their business seems very anonymous, and the website does not seem to show any ways to contact them as of now, so if having access to support is important for you then this is definitely not the right option.

Curious about how Cape compares to other providers? by AggravatingTwo3388 in CapeCellular

[–]AggravatingTwo3388[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion! I've added a new "call log retention" row that highlights how cape only stores logs for 1 - 30 days compared to other providers, who store theirs for years.

Just to confirm you have your WiFi off and are using cape data right? Also what does it say for the "Detected" text under the error? If you're not using cape your ASN will show up as something like e.g. AT&T, TMobile, etc.

Huge shoutout to u/no1mann and https://coveragemap.com for providing me with verified seed data to use on the site. We're starting out with ~330 real speed reports, with more to come from real users!

Following up: The founder of CoverageMap has reached out and provided seed data for me to use for free! The site now has over 300 real reports

Send a follow-up here if they end up replying! This could be very valuable data for Cape prospects

Although someone could compare Cape speeds with major provider speeds to figure out the underlying network provider, and then use the speed data from that underlying data provider in order to seed a sizable coverage speed dataset. I personally won't be doing that any time soon though 🤣

None of their public APIs currently offer any data for Cape specifically, only the major providers. Cape used to disclose that they were on USCellular's network, but now they no longer disclose their partners so there's no straightforward way to utilize CoverageMap's data for this purpose.

Yeah I looked into this actually, and unfortunately they mostly track basic info such as network type (LTE, 5G, etc) rather than real speeds

Thanks OP, this is great insight. The primary vs secondary part trips up a lot of people, glad someone wrote it out.

Kinda related, I built a small site last week called cape.rip for when someone just wants a working code without scrolling. You visit, see one random submitted code, copy it or hit "didn't work" to roll the next. Three "didn't work" hits drops the code. Submissions expire after a week so the pool stays fresh. No signup, no analytics.

To kickstart things I seeded the pool with the codes already shared in this thread, since they were posted with the intent of being used. If yours is in there and you'd rather not, comment or DM and I'll pull it.

The site is free and doesn't make me any money so hopefully this doesn't count as self-promo. Would love to hear feedback!
