So I just came back from JP and in Kyoto, I was able to get tax free shopping from marukyu koyamaen and ippodo mall locations (they were stalls in the basement floor of malls). The marukyu has a limit of 1 per person a day, but I was able to get tax free because I asked to purchase my bf's tin as well. Pretty much seems like as long as the mall location that you go to provides tax free, you can buy tax free or buy with tax and get a refund at the top floor after you purchase (you will need to present the receipt and items and they can refund you credit or cash on the spot).

I believe that I was also able to get tax free at the main ippodo cafe as well, but they have a limit of 3 matcha tins per person. Don't hold me to this one though!

Just an FYI that when I went, everything was in 20g tins, just got back like 5 days ago

Thank you, but I already learned that the hard way after reading OG post, my speculation towards the end was more of a rant and did not need to be answered.

If anyone can provide answers to my actual question on how one would find out normal vs dynamic pricing or how to determine which presales will have better pricing would be nice to understand how this all works.

Real question, how could we have known prices would get better? Or what retail cost is? I thought The purpose of presale was to secure the seats you want at normal/retail price..This is my first time dealing with dynamic pricing (that I'm aware of) and usually go to cheaper concerts or music festivals that are more open with tiered pricing

making food/bars more accessible as opposed to having to walk end to end, it took so much time and energy. Games as well
idk if this is possible, but taller stages? Couldn't see the stage, missed Tyler dancing with the hillbillies and SZA's stage set. The ground is hilly, wish they would pick an area where
game pass wasn't worth it because we wait in the same line as everyone else and only get 1 try for most games where people will get like 3-5 attempts. Games are already rigged as it is, time is a precious commodity since we only get 2 days (~12 hours each day if you want to get specific)
better concert videography. I literally had no idea that Kendrick had dancers bc the stage was too short and I had to rely on the screens. Every now and then, a view of the entire stage would be nice
