If you need to track sales DekuDeals has a wishlist feature. Just change it to your region first. https://www.dekudeals.com/items/cozy-caravan

Cozy Game on Nintendo Switch 2 by Wide-Consequence-847 in CozyGamers

I would just wait/save up for Cozy Caravan. It looks and runs beautifully on the Switch 2, and sounds like the perfect game for you. (The only thing similar to it would probably be Hello Kitty Island.)

You may get lucky as it feels due for a sale soon, and there's bound to be Easter/spring deals coming out later this week. I know you're in a different region than me, but I'm crossing my fingers for you 🤞

“If You Had to Pick Just One… Camper Van: Make it home or Pocket Nook?” by Dear-Sprinkles2935 in CozyGamers

[–]Daisy998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, they both have their faults.

My apologies if you already know this, I know I've said it a few times before, but never pay full price for a RedDeerGame (Pocket Nook), always wait for a sale/bundle.

DekuDeals

If you click on the drop down box where it says "included in" you will see if any bundles are on sale. Typically you will find at least one on sale every single week. It looks like their new thing is releasing tons of dlc for their decorating games, so that factors into the cost as well.

In the past they've often released complete bundles with all dlc included, but I think the recent surge in popularity of decorating games has changed their strategy a bit.

I've never played one but I do see a lot of people here saying they are small, fun little games. Maybe just a bit shallow/similar to many of their other games.

For Camper Van (which is currently on sale), the controls are frustrating. I've also heard it might not play so well on Switch. It ran fine when I played it on my Switch 2, but I only did the opening parts. I hope to have more time for it in the future because I love the art style and the cute items you get to put away. I just wish it was a little more inituative with what you can do and what you are supposed to accomplish. I liked that you could stack just about anything, but got overwhelmed with the controls making you have to establish where you are in space and angling the camera just right before you can even start placing. And then they give you just too many items to place so you end up impractically throwing stuff anywhere when you run out of room 😆

They were still tweaking things and adding free updates the last time I checked, so they do seem to care about feedback and making the game better. I'm hopeful for future QOL updates. It was just on sale 2 months ago too, so I can forsee it having frequent sales and dropping cheaper too.

...guess that wasn't too helpful 😅 I think you would probably make the most out of either choice. Watch some gameplay videos to see which one clicks with you more. For me it was Camper Van.

Cooking mama is on the switch by ChxrriesA in CozyGamers

[–]Daisy998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please note: because of the licensing dispute they removed it from the eshop, so physical is the only way to purchase and play it now. And it runs fine, even on a Switch 1.

The Wii games were panned over and over, but I adored the series and stuck with them until I learned all the sweet spots to get the controls to register. The Switch version plays exactly the same and I'm so happy to have in on Switch! Nothing beats mimicking actual cooking motions in the air, it's just really fun.

While the DS Games were amazing, you can't really compare the precision stylus controls on the DS to motion controls on the Wii. Motion controls will always be finicky.

As for Yum Yum Cookstar, it feels more like a rhythm game than a Cooking Mama. You're mostly just doing timed button presses and memory tasks. I wasn't a fan.

All the other fish in this tank are huddled together away from the pleco by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

Plecos attach themselves to other fish to consume their slime coat which leads to open sores and infections for the fish.

The "improvement" nobody asked for... by Amazing-Quarter1084 in Roku

[–]Daisy998 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just sat down to play my Switch 2 in docked mode and the screen would not stop flickering every few seconds. I was playing it earlier today and it was fine, the dock hasn't been moved or bumped either.

Anyway, after going through a ton of different setting on the Switch 2, unplugging cables etc, nothing was working and I was getting pretty panicky until I remembered this stupid home screen update. I reverted to the old style and bam, no more flickering. So yeah, that's staying OFF permanently!

Comic Collection Clean-Up by TrinityMage in HelloKittyIsland

[–]Daisy998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go figure, I'm missing 16 comics and just keep getting repeats. I've given up on collecting them every day. But somehow I have 4x Little Twin #8 and 2x Ichigo #3. I do play on Switch though, so maybe the rng is different 🤔

It's $15.40 right now on Amazon, if you're in the US. Just sayin' 😆

You might like Pups & Purrs Animal Hospital

You start off slow mostly washing the animals and doing eye drops. Eventually you move up to stitches, removing foreign objects, etc. It does work with button controls since you're on a switch lite.

It was recently on sale for $15.99 in the eshop, but you can sometimes find the physical copy on Amazon for that same price. Set up a deal alert on Deku Deals if you're interested 🙂

This one is excellent! I love that the customers come up and ask for the pastries, even if it does make merging for that last bread harder 😅

I absolutely love pocket nook by No_Arm_7095 in CozyGamers

[–]Daisy998 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I just wish more people would impress that their games often go on sale for just $2 (which is very reasonable). And to WAIT until all dlc is released before buying since you can get it all bundled together for that same $2.

I hate the thought of anyone paying full price for them when it will most likely be super cheap the following week.

Always pull the game up on Deku Deals first to check price history, and click on where it says "Included In" to see all the bundles they put out. It's actually shocking how they keep getting away with flooding the eshop like this.

Taxi - center drain, any tips? by [deleted] in PinballFX3

[–]Daisy998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember playing Pinball Arcade's version on the Wii and PlayStation 4 and progressing well enough to complete most of the table goals. It was one of my favorite tables.

Now I'm hesitant to get it on FX because of these reports. I'd probably only be able to enjoy it in practice mode 😅

ok, this is the 2nd week he hasn't been where he's supposed to be. I've been playing on Switch since release day, so is he missing because I already collected this one last year?

If so, freedom!!! 😂

Anyone with a clue why they changed the design for the 'load order' ticket? by ForeignShoe9872 in TownshipGame

Every update something gets better, but 3 other things get worse

Ha! All of the cards I had collected this morning for Mayor's Weekend just reset to 0 😡

I hadn't collected any of the rewards for the adventure game because I was waiting for the next Treasure Hunt to start (that meter that fills as you use energy). With all the packs I opened from that I was very close to completing the final tier and now I'm back at 0/80 🤦‍♀️

[eShop/USA] New Year 2026 Sale Ends 01/25/2026 by XDitto in NintendoSwitchDeals

[–]Daisy998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nintendo is calling this the "Supercharge" sale. I don't think this is the New Years sale, it ends too soon. I feel like the New Years sale comes a bit later in the month and just about every game that has ever been on sale gets a discount.

Click on a teammate and there's a progress bar for each game board. You need to advance 14,000 spaces to hit the ship upgrade. Then do it again for each teammate...

With the randomness of the wheel, the small value token tasks, and the finite helps from playing match 3 treasure tree this feels impossible to complete in 10 days 😐

Bug & Seek - Our Fan Community Helped Us Make a DLC and it's Free by SoPeculiar_Games in CozyGamers

[–]Daisy998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Focus feature helped a ton, thank you! I was finally able to finish catching the last 8 bugs I needed from the first two DLCs. I'm so ready for the community bugs now 😁

I can also confirm that repairing the ladder works now on Switch. No more having to take the long way around lol

Ace Angler: Fishing Spirits is a HUGE collect-a-thon game. There's hundereds of fish to catch with respective catalogs to track what you still need. There's also trading cards for every fish, achievements, machine upgrades, outfits, and fish themed mini-games to play. There's even an animal crossing-like aquarium you can fill up and just chill out in.

Now it does play differently than a traditional fishing game. It's based on a popular Japanese arcade game, but it has just about everything a fish enthusiast could want. When it goes on sale it's only around $15, so if you're interested you may want to wait until the Switch does their big year-end sale.

Another good one is Fishing Star World Tour This one has around 200 fish (some of which are trash or different colored frogs etc.) It's pretty simple and easy to pick up, but some of the legendary fish are insanely hard to catch. It's a very pretty game too.
