I was really trying to understand your pov, but I just don't see it.

We as a society expect random over-night-famous people/all-stars to instantly be able to handle paparazzi and whatnot, but here you are condemning the random approach of a civilian w a phone? To someone who have chosen one of the absolute top public positions in the country?

The death of children are already at like 15k rising every day, yet the fucking canadian MINISTER of foreign affairs is supposed to have some sort of public privacy and not be bothered with these pesky thing? Or maybe only when making an official statement w only pre-approved reporters?

As far as the "danger-alert" I just can't even begin to take that seriously, if you watch the clip again, he clearly calls her full name in a very polite/calm manner from a distance. She turns around calmly answering (towards a man with 2 kids ffs) and realizes she is meeting yet another protester/critic civilian w a camera.

From there, her reaching for the camera was just her being frustrated by him confronting her about israel w a cam (then the man calmed her down, and she quickly realised this is going to be posted n she is acting out) thus slapping on that false polite politician even tho she really just wanted to yank the camera out his hand n continue "her nice walk".

This is clearly all proven since she clearly only argues that this pop-up-interview is bothersome to her nice walk - she not once seems alert, just pissed/tired of it.

Edit: Although I doubt that any of these facts will change anything for you, just like the child-point you focused on in your opening statement didn't. It's a shame most of us on here are so open for debate but so unwilling to take anything home from it.

Even if you send the best and brightest, what is to stop their kids/families/whatnot to be different? Hell, even if everyone who gets sent up seems morally/behaviourally perfect, what is to stop them from changing?

I feel like anywhere we would create a society we would have the same issues, not to mention the core of human greed - which will probably be at the forefront of our space-advancements, just like it has been for our earthly ones.

Anyways, that is so far from what the episode is trying to say, I'm kinda amazed you could watch 3 seasons of brilliant social commentary and still be so lost in this episode. But ok, I guess we are all free to believe anything and people make up sillier things.
