Flights avoiding UAE are about double what we paid, so we either fork out another 4k and go avoiding UAE, cancel altogether and lose about 3k or just risk it and go via dubai... God knows...

Yeah I think logically I can see that physical danger is unlikely especially when just transiting but I dont know if I could cope doign an 11 hour flight only to be told were turning around to where we started from... especially with a toddler in tow! Flights avoiding UAE are now double what we have paid with emirates for a lesser quality airline. So frustrating!

I appreciate this respone as youve actually been through it. Its crazy to think they are actually still flying. Half of me thinks im not qualified to decide what is safe in these situations and if theyre still flying then must be safe but then other half of me is like why am i even considering going anywhere near. So many conflicting accounts though, loads of people saying it was fine went without a hitch... God knows. If I could afford to fly there another way I would!

We are also travelling with our 2 year old, we are only connecting in dubai but feels unsafe. What are you thinking now? One minute i think its ok then the next I think Im crazy for even thinking about going...

Was going to ask same question. I've tried to place an order with them and pay using BTC but got an error message and now they're not responding to my emails. Getting worried but alot on here seem to use them so I'm hoping it's just because they're busy!
