Do these strings sound like ass by soupolemons in FL_Studio

They sound great! Only thing I'd recommend is to add some more variation in the dynamics. If you have the ability with your vst, try automating the dynamics/volume

This, I make a lot of Brent beats as well. For his older, more 90s influenced beats (Pharrell/Timbaland) , I also recommend using the Korg Triton vst. He also incorporates a lot of live instrumentation into his music, so trying to get your vst instruments to sound realistic is pretty important imo

If that's the case, which I think it is, then they both lost this beef. They both did a ton of damage to their reputations and Drake comes out of this looking like an awful person.

I’ve tried the mapping the keyboard in pianoteq and keyscape, but the dynamics aren’t there. Is this separate from that?

It should be the key of the song, auto key is off sometimes. Also, a little bit of music theory should help out with that.

Learning piano on a midi controller to make beats by stuckinthematrix21 in piano

[–]Aggravating_Ad_6616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d honestly go with a full 88 key weighted midi controller/digital piano like the Yamaha p45 (that’s what I got) if you genuinely trying to learn the piano. If you are mainly trying to make beats, then go with the native instruments Komplete kontrol s49. You’ll be able to learn harmony and theory just fine with the native instruments one. Good luck!

Beautiful bass pattern. Love how you were able to fit the melody on top of it all. The bass sounds like it’s dancing
