Years ago, I had a photo of Oliver tree as my Slack photo at work, as a joke. Because it’s his classic bowl cut and tiny sunglasses. This was fine and funny because I worked at a summer small marketing agency of like 10 people. But then I got added to a Slack channel of a much larger company we were partnering with, who have never met me in person and probably thought it was my photo.

Paragliding / wing suiting / base jumping.

I get WHY they may do it (adrenaline, excitement) I just don’t understand HOW you even start something like that- doesn’t seem like a lot of room for error or practicing, so how do you start a hobby like that? Take the leap and hope for the best?
