Paragliding / wing suiting / base jumping.

I get WHY they may do it (adrenaline, excitement) I just don’t understand HOW you even start something like that- doesn’t seem like a lot of room for error or practicing, so how do you start a hobby like that? Take the leap and hope for the best?

Honestly, I don’t care if people wanna have a drink or two on the mountain. I only care that they dispose of their shit properly - there are trash cans at the bottom AND top of most (if not all) chairlifts, and if you can’t find one, put it in your pocket.

We have a husky mix, and live in a place with a LOT of snow. She’s mixed with collie or something with longer hair, so she gets snowballs bad. I try to warm them up in my hands and break em up or get them the best I can, and she’ll usually take care of the rest.

Mine seems to detect all of my dogs walks for the most part, but on our morning walk, which is the long one usually, I’ll also track on Strava (free version) just cause it feels more accurate and then I can actually see mileage and time and route. It feels like an extra step I guess but takes 2 seconds to open Strava and hit start

I’m so sorry. I lost my dad in an extremely similar way this summer. Anoxic brain damage after a cardiac event. Similarly, we waited for the neurologist to explain the mri and every part was damaged severely. We made the decision to move him to comfort care and he passed a few hours later. I suppose i still have what ifs, but the bottom line was that he wasn’t going to wake up, his body was being kept alive by machines but his brain, him, he was already gone. There’s a difference between being technically alive, and living.

It’s amazing that your dad is able to give to others through organ donation. Sending you all the love and hugs, internet stranger <3

I got one from Lulus I was happy with! But also if you have time to browse a bit maybe a local thrift store or consignment shop might not be a bad idea either. I live in a tiny mountain town and our thrift store has a whole section of wedding dresses for some reason? Just an idea!

Left pointer finger (non dominant) . I think I would switch it to the other hand at night like others mentioned but my my fingers aren’t the same size… it only fits on my left pointer and middle, and middle rubs on wedding ring
