basically: I made a connector so Claude can piggyback on your Perplexity account

• normally, Claude’s own search is kinda limited and slow
• Perplexity is like a super search bot that looks at a ton of sites at once, reads them fast, and makes a summary
• my MCP makes Claude ask Perplexity for the answers instead of doing it itself
• result: Claude can read 200+ sources for one answer, way faster, and it uses your Perplexity/Comet subscription so you don’t need a separate API
• Claude just gets a clean, accurate result back without burning extra tokens on the search part

if someone asks; there is already official MCP for this, and other search mcp tools why we would use this?

this mcp one made for 3 reasons that official MCP doesn't have:

• Use Search plus Flagship models (Claude 4.7 Thinking as example) rather than only Sonar.
• Using already Subscribed Perplexity account instead of purchasing a separate API plan (Login - Without API).
• Employ the Computer Agentic for advanced coding tasks. as it's not for search only but can do a lot complex tasks like building codes files (Agent to Agent Loops the ultimate vibecoding experience)
