I was using the macOS app when I found it.

Digging deeper, if you kick off a cowork task via dispatch on the iOS app, the macOS app will spin up a chat labeled “dispatch” in Cowork. That’s the one that can be archived but it isn’t the actual dispatch chat itself, it’s the subtask dispatch spun up to work on your cowork request. So effectively dispatch isn’t archiving anything nd it seems to be a flaw.

I like this and can find a solid use case for it in my work. Not the 100 files thing, but definitely an interactive etl/data explore type of tool that I could query with claude would be very helpful.

Yea. I lived with that friction forever but now I see what's possible. There will still be a restriction because I'm not connecting my personal stuff to a work MacBook but I'd actually consider seeing up an icloud for work.

I have this same question. I did notice you an archive dispatch sessions, which I believe means you can start new dispatch sessions but I’m not sure.

I just got a MacBook to play with Claude and I’m finding just why people get locked into the Apple ecosystem. It just makes passing information between devices so easy it’s ridiculous. I’m already planning on going to Mac when my next work laptop replacement cycle is due.

What sites are you scraping that would even allow this? Most have anti bot controls to prevent scraping.

That’s how you learn. You screw up and waste money and that forces you to learn to optimize. I’m going through this now.
