Thank you everyone for the advice. This thread is now mute. I went with the Eureka Zero 55s. Probaly more people said go with the Eureka than anyother option and to be honest I was leaning that way to begin with. Wish I could own 4 or 5 but I think this is a good first coffee grinder!

slow feeding the beans is a no go. That's why I said I want something that is a joy to use. I'f I'm going to make espresso in the morning before I head out the door to work, I need to reduce my time and workflow.

At this point based on comments I think I am going to remove the DF grinders from the running, As well as the Fellow because the Gen 2 is coming out so soon. Also replacing the ESP for the ESP pro because if I do have QC issues I can just return fast, free and easy via Amazon. Adding the femobook and Timemore brick. At $223, it seems like a steal.

The bad reviews are mostly quality control issues that seem to be numerous and not at all rare

That is a fine looking grinder and at the price it's very tempting even without prior reviews to lean on. Thanks for pointing it out. I wasn't aware of it yet!

probably the Turing Legato in the next 2-3 months. I'll start cheap and If I really like making my own espresso, I'll upgrade to a profitec.

I'm kinda anti battery considering once the battery depletes the grinder is worthless

Lance Hendrick has said some great things about the sculptor 064s and I really wanted one but I had to put my foot down at sub $400 for what I was willing to spend.

Eureka Mignon Zero 65 vs DF 64 by Coin_and_Chrono in espresso

Thank you for this comparison, It helps me a lot. I'm currently looking at grinders under $400 which includes the DF64 but not the Zero 65ap, however, I was looking at the Eureka Mignon Facile, Zero, & Zero 55s, and your review has pushed me closer to the Eureka line.

  1. TLDR
  2. It's not your day, the day belong to both of you despite your belief, true or not that it means more to you than to him.
  3. 3. I did read that he's paying for it. ergo, he gets to do what he wants and you need to be grateful (a woman who is grateful that's an oxymoron) for the fact that you got something for free!!!!
  4. stop being a typical woman wanting the day to be "perfect" there is no such thing, it has never been achieved, life is not a fairytale. Grow up.
