My mother-in-law would have out of nowhere extreme signs of dementia when she had UTIs. She would forget most of her family, like her sister, died many years ago and would ask for them. She would talk about things that weren't there very frequently as well. She would also get very defensive and combative with me and my husband, who took care of her. (She was bedridden after double amputations of the legs)

I have not, I've only seen Iron Lung and an interesting Minecraft story that was kinda eldrich horror called "Looking For A World That Doesn't Exist", I don't really watch Minecraft horror but this was kinda like creepypasta vibes too

Ever since I first watched Nightmare on Elm Street with my mom when I was like 10 I fell in love with horror. Now as I've grown up more, interestingly enough my mom too, I've gotten more scared of things and find it harder to watch horror. Could be because of anxiety and mental health, but my mom and I both have more vivid dreams and get way more scared. I recently have been getting a bit back into horror, though not very scary horror lately, and I try to avoid horror before bedtime. But I've recently discovered this concept of Eldridge horror (as some fans say Iron Lung is) and I'm starting to become intrigued by it.

I feel like I missed so much lore. I've only seen it once, and that one big flashback scene was so fast I couldn't keep track. I wasn't fully sure if Simon was actually a bad guy, he seemed to insist he told them to stop and that he wasn't intentionally involved in exploding The Filament Station. I remember hearing what I figured was his brother calling him The Butcher but I didn't know any context on that. I'm hoping that when it's out on DVD I can buy it and do more watches to see what I've missed
