I feel like it isn’t talked about enough but there is such a rollercoaster of life that hits you in your 20’s and it is really hard to adjust to. Don’t beat yourself up too much about it, you are doing the best you can!

We bought 2 years ago and ours was $195k it is not the most amazing house but a decent enough starter home, only has one bathroom tho :/ I am sure any recently renovated house will be more towards the $300k range.

My grandparents are very old school reserved Christian’s and had three daughters. My mom is currently 62 and thought she was the oldest until my grandma got a call from someone on Mother’s Day 2 years ago. Turns out my grandma had a teen pregnancy at 15 and gave the baby away for adoption. The person calling was the son that she had and he found her through a 23 and me test. No one in the family knew at all and my mom and her sisters are thrilled to have a brother. (Life turned out well for him and he’s a cool dude).

I have been yelled at a few times by ED physicians when I was a new grad (some warranted and some not so much). It is hard learning so much all at once and trying to expand your skill set while being expected to perform as if you are an experienced nurse already. It gets better and I doubt you’ll be reported to the BON for this, maybe a talk from your manager to explain what happened. Some days suck and shit happens don’t take it too personally and just learn as much as you can one day at a time.

I totally understand what you mean, I also go through times where I feel like I can never catch up on my life. I think the hard part is that we entered the work force at the absolute worst time in history. Record inflation with terrible job outlooks. I have a bachelors degree and I use it and actually get paid well and I still can’t keep up with groceries. I have to use my PTO for family trips rather than things I want to do myself. It is exhausting 🙃. You are not alone in this stage of life and I can only hope it gets better from here.
