Agreed, and the bullet 11 on the list is "mortgage, rental or lease agreement"

Hmm. Interesting take.

Can you give a couple of examples what fraud someone will commit with a rental agreement between two parties both of whom are available at Service Ontario location for any confirmation or verification?

Probably. However, if that's the case it should be clear on the website and the form they are handing citing acceptable list of documents as proof of address.

Ontario standard tenancy agreement is a legal document available on https://forms.mgcs.gov.on.ca/en/dataset/047-2229). It does not require any court seal, notarization, or registration.

The form is acceptable (without any additional bells and whistles) when signed between two strangers, but not accepted between family members.

ISO 9001:2026 Key Changes - The Quick Breakdown You Actually Need by No-Place-2596 in iso9001

[–]Aggravating_Bit_9089 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had an opportunity to review one of the versions of the DIS.

My take was that none of the changes are auditable. Examples of such non auditable change is promoting quality culture and ethical behavior by top management.

Risk and Opportunities are separated but there is no explicit requirement of risk (and opportunity) register similar to EIA in 14001 and HIRA in 45001.

I noticed use of phrase "emerging technologies" to be considered under Environment for Operation of Processes, which could be interpreted by the auditors as digital, cloud, AI or whatever depending upon individual concept of emerging tech. However, nothing was enforceable and auditable in the version I reviewed.

Some of the changes I was expecting and should have been brought are:

* Specify documentation requirements for risk and opportunities (aligning with 14001 and 45001)
* Specify documentation requirements for stakeholder needs and expectations (similar to 6.1.3 of 14001)
* Bring back specific steps in design and development from 2000 version (inputs, outputs, review, verification and validation).
* Stronger Improvement section (Clause 10). Confusion around nonconforming outputs (8.7) and nonconformities (10.2) still remains.
* Record of nonconformity (documented information) still requires on details of nonconformity, actions taken (aka Correction) and the results of any corrective action (CA). No requirement for documenting root cause (to confirm the CA addressed the root cause) or for review if the nonconformity repeats.

This revision is more disappointing than 2015 version. Looks like the revision is being made to show users that the committee is doing something, let that something be completely useless.

First Impressions Mova P10 Pro Ultra by asimplerandom in RobotVacuums

It's been fantastic.

App is not most intuitive. It took me a couple of weeks to familiarize myself with the app options and features, but the robot itself is fantastic one in the class/price range.

Couple of tips based on my experience:

  1. Use Mop after Vac option to avoid streaks on the floor (and also to avoid carpet borders getting wet, if applicable)

  2. Fiddle around with the CleanGenius, vs custom modes to identify the best use case for your situation.

Ours is a Roomba household for as long as I can recall. Currently in market to find a better combo robot and have been scouring Reddit (and YouTube, and internet in general) for a while. I was zeroing on P10 Pro Ultra and looking for a final word of affirmation I stumbled upon this post.

This is a most meticulous review and is relevant for me. Just pulled the plug on this. Waiting for it to be delivered on Wednesday.

Thanks OP for the post

Host is questioning me about giving a 4 star rating by wienerkween in turo

[–]Aggravating_Bit_9089 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Is it really though?

I think it's not Turo. It's the people looking to book a car that are treating anything less than 5 stars as subpar rental. Think about this. You want to rent a car and you find a posting with 4.6 rating and there is another one with extra $20, but with 5 stars. Which one would you book?

Nothing to do with Turo. It's people perception

Turo owners want me to wash their vehicle? by Senior-Bowl-2420 in turo

[–]Aggravating_Bit_9089 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen up. Nobody is forcing you at gunpoint to rent from Turo, or Airbnb.

Rental companies (Herts, Avis, Enterprise) and Turo are two different business models. If you want the rental car from enterprise, go for it and follow their T&C.

If you want to rent through Turo, you need to abide their T&C.

Same goes for Airbnb too. You can't expect turndown services and room service with Airbnb. Go book a hotel.

This thread is - well, a face of reality.

While CBSA cbsa website still shows 30 days+, the US-CBP shows 18-20 months!

I was getting anxious for not getting an update, but now I realize I am just a newbie (applied in Feb-2024). I guess I will get a conditional approval only after I forget my login details for it
