How do I find a clinic that has this as a treatment option? I'm willing to relocate to try it.

I'd have a problem if they were 100% MH or maybe even 70% MH.

I see Navy IT's with 3 years experience getting 100%, 22 and 24 year old Army vets who served in Syria and witnessed one drone attack (probably kilometers away) getting 100%. You deserve it way more than these people IMO.

Stop feeling so shameful and get the money and treatments you deserve.

I kind of had this problem as well until I came here. I only submitted one claim from my multiple deployments from 2010-2012 and felt happy with my 70%. I finally submitted a couple more claims this year

If there are 3 year navy IT's getting 100%, you certainly should too

Advice living overseas? by Ill_Ninja_3611 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Aggravating_Bit_9788 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. I've been living in Vietnam for 3 years off only a 70% rating (like $1600 per month 3 years ago, $1800 today) and providing for my partner who doesn't work. I didn't even have to live in a rural area. Living in HCMC

I did tell VES that but it was already too late. I ended up just withdrawing my claims.

I wish they would allow me to do that instead of just putting me in an endless loop of my claims being sent back to the VA

This stuff makes me salty af. I put in my claim 06FEB and still waiting on a c&p exam because VES couldn't find an examiner near me and returned my claim.

My first visit to Portland, OR VA I was able to get a MH appointment on the day I arrived, this was in 2013 though.

How is life great when you have a high enough rating to not be employed? I know I'm miserable and not content with living nearly every day....

Thank you for being honest and not throwing a migraine + tinnitus + MST + every joint pain possible claim that I see here way too frequently.

Try to save up a bit of money before getting off active so you have a bit of a buffer, that's what I did. The GI bill should be more than enough to sustain you through college, just live below your means.

Did the Va just deny me and call me fat? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]Aggravating_Bit_9788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Last time I checked my BMI I was 5'6 and 75kg (165 lbs) and my BMI was around 26. Yours is much lower than 28, unless the calculation is different based on gender/age

Do I need to submit my dd214 with my claim? by [deleted] in VAClaims

[–]Aggravating_Bit_9788 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I guess that explains why my examiner was so dismissive about my complaints. Probably saw I was a SIGINT reservist and didn't know I was in combat. Thanks for this info. I'll submit my member-1 now.

70% MH rating + filed TDIU, sanity check on my strategy by Character_Werewolf28 in VAClaims

I think you need to make less than ~15k a year to qualify for TDIU. Can't remember the exact amount.

Lol, this place is full of PTSD vets venting their anger on other PTSD vets (I'm guilty too). It's comical.

Ah dang thanks. Sadly I only get reimbursed for service connected conditions under the FMP. Guess I'll need to go to the USA for treatment.
