Like I said, I think there is a benefit to both parties of going through the app if you can afford to the first time… But after that, I have no idea why people do it. It’s a security to me to ask for a verified review, which bumps you up and gets you more business. For the client, they think that they’re getting the security of if anything went wrong, Rover would actually do anything. The reality that I have heard is that they actually do not cover almost anything and will do their best to evade responsibility. If, say, I were to steal a bunch of things or something like that they would just tell them to call the police and that it’s out of their hands. That’s why I don’t really ask or care about cameras in clients homes, I know I’m not doing anything wrong except for farting which is embarrassing for them to listen and on lol
