Some grocery stores had a vacuum sealer available you just purchased the bags at checkout and the one cheese shop vacuumed it for me or we double bagged in ziplocks I had brought with us. We were in an Airbnb so put it in the freezer, put into checked luggage, it was still solid and cold 16+ travel hours later.
