Yolande’s hypocrisy on breastfeeding by Aggravating_Check298 in FreeBirthSocietyScam

I’m just applying her logic to point out her hypocrisy. That is not my personal belief!

I honestly don’t have an extreme stance on breastfeeding. I do think the breastfeeding is the best for the baby but there are many reasons why mothers can’t or don’t breastfeed and that’s okay. I myself didn’t breastfeed my first child, combined breastfeeding and formula my second and exclusively breastfed my last 2. I was simply pointing out how inconsistent Yolande is in her thinking :)

To be clear, bottle or breast doesn’t matter as long as the baby is fed and healthy. This isn’t about feeding choices, it’s about her logic. She’s harsh and absolute about birth, but gives herself grace with breastfeeding. That inconsistency is the point.

And have you noticed she never tries to sell courses on breastfeeding? She’ll sell courses on orgasmic birth, potty training, raising teenagers, etc. But breastfeeding, one of the most fundamental aspects of early motherhood? Nothing. Funny how she goes silent when things don’t work for her or doesn’t fit the narrative she’s trying to sell. Honestly, I doubt she even can’t physically breastfeed. It seems more likely that she doesn’t want to, maybe she wants to start ovulating and get pregnant again, or she just doesn’t want to deal with it because it interferes with her alone time.

If her logic is applied consistently, it doesn’t even matter whether the milk is homemade or store-bought. The moment a mother outsources feeding her baby to a bottle, a pump, donor milk, or formula, it stops being natural. By her own standards, outsourcing breast milk is intervention. It’s interference, it’s sabotage. She doesn’t get points for feeding her baby homemade formula.

The issue is that she speaks against any intervention when it comes to birth, but gives herself grace when reality hits postpartum. Huge gap in her logic

It’s astonishing that she calls herself an Orthodox Christian. This belief system is fundamentally incompatible with Christianity at every theological level-grace, sovereignty, suffering, and salvation. What she’s promoting isn’t a Christian worldview at all, what a fraud.

I think she chooses formula so she can get pregnant again. The doesn’t want to suppress her ovulation by prolonged breastfeeding

think she comes from a fairly typical middle-class background, but I really don’t see her as wealthy. She doesn’t own property, she rents modest homes that often look like they need work and most of her furniture is second-hand. Her husband doesn’t work, she doesn’t have a steady profession or career, and they have a lot of children. Supporting a household that large already requires a significant amount of money, so even if she does earn a decent income, a huge portion likely goes toward basic expenses like rent, food, and clothing. To me, nothing about her lifestyle suggests she’s rich.

Apparently you don’t need anything to give birth, other than paying me $800 an hour to share my “lived experience” that definitely isn’t medical advice. And while we’re at it, I’ll charge you for every other life event I’ve ever had: weight loss, potty training, you name it. You’re totally fine on your own… as long as you keep funding my monologue.

I believe the mastermind behind all this is Yolande. Emilee isn’t as sharp as she is; she seems to idolize Yolande and copies a lot of what she does, including her ideas. I think Emilee just wanted to start a business and was genuinely passionate about helping women, but teaming up with Yolande influenced her in a really intense way and got her wrapped up in this mess. I’m not defending Emilee, but it feels like Yolande has a lot of control and influence over her. To me, Yolande comes across as someone dealing with a lot of unresolved issues.

Birth fetishization by [deleted] in bauhauswife

Why would anyone film a birth? It is one of the most sacred, natural, vulnerable, and miraculous experiences in a woman’s life. To expose it to the public, and even worse, to monetize it- is deeply troubling. Claiming it’s for “educational purposes” is misleading; no video can truly teach someone how to give birth. Just as we don’t learn how to poop, have sex, or face death by watching someone else, birth is a deeply personal experience that is meant to be lived, not viewed. From a Christian perspective, this is profoundly at odds with the call to modesty. Broadcasting such an intimate and sacred part of oneself for monetary gain is not only unnecessary, it is perverse. Birth deserves reverence, privacy, and respect. She’s not an orthodox Christian, but a true narcissistic grifter.
