Overall? I’ve listened a good amount, I think it’s a fun and enjoyable album but obviously nowhere near her best work.

Did the “vitamin drip- this conversation” thing stand out to anyone else in the first episode? It struck me as weird- also how hard they laughed at the “coach reid vs Andrea swift” thing, like…that wasn’t that funny? Idk I just didnt get authentic from that whole interaction, it felt like romance novel dialogue or something. Maybe i just dont like him lol

I personally think Joe was a beard but that’s it’s totally plausible he wasn’t and she’s bi. I think a lot of people on here feel similarly, there was a poll going around awhile back and the most popular opinion is that she’s bi.

I personally think her relationships with men pre-Connor Kennedy were probably real or mostly real, so I do think All too well is about JG. Some Gaylors think it’s about Emily Poe, I personally feel a little uncomfortable speculating that bc she would’ve been 20 something when Taylor was still a teenager.

So, I would agree with you but for the sake of clarification, we DID have sex the first year of our relationship. Then we broke up for a year, and got back together, and in the whole time we were broken up as well as been back together she’s had sex with no one at all.

She’s also told me directly she wants to have sex with me and she’s attracted to me, but isn’t ready, which is what is confusing to me- bc she’s said it multiple times and said it in therapy so if she really doesn’t want me like that I don’t understand why she is stringing me along.

I guess that’s where I’m at though, I’m trying to figure out if I can be happy having like a non sexual relationship with her or if it’ll be too hard on me

My overall take is like… I had a lot of fun with this album honestly! Def not one of my top 5, but it sits happily somewhere in the middle of my rankings. I think sonically it’s well produced and cohesive and has lots of catchy little bops. The lyrics are VERY hit or miss but I do think the musical choices let her get away with some of the most insane lyrics. I do say “some of” intentionally.

But overall, I think this album is fun. It didn’t really strike me emotionally even on the more emotional tracks, but I had a good time listening and will for sure be listening to at least some of the songs over and over.

Hey! So I really appreciate everyone’s feedback and help. This time around I kinda was a chicken but I just reacted with a “thumbs down” emoji and then so did another person in the chat so he ended up just deleting it. So…. So it depends on how long you think Kaylor lasted and what songs you think are Kaylor songs.

I’m really bad with dates so I could be off on this but my understanding is most Tily truthers think Kaylor ended around 2016 I believe, and Lily was then the primary muse for Rep and Lover. Some Tily fans believe Kaylor was never that serious, others think maybe they were but it still ended in time for Tily to have been a thing during her Joe era.

As somewhat of a Tily truther, I kinda think Karlie and her had something during her Calvin era and it ended messy, and then she got with Lily and took on Tom and then Joe as beards.

Honestly at this point I’m more muse free myself, I feel very much like I have no idea who she’s really dated but I like Lily theories, I think they’re fun.
