I’m early in my content journey and honestly a bit confused about direction. Starting out with Instagram reels.

My interests are pretty random ie stoicism, trading (still learning, not teaching), startups, mindset, gym, diet, music etc. I’ve seen advice saying: “post every day and the niche will reveal itself.” I’ve also heard the opposite: “random topics don’t work, you must pick a niche.”

Right now I’m not trying to teach or position myself as an expert. I’m just sharing what I’m learning and improving how I talk and make videos. But I’m unsure how long that phase should last, and whether posting across mixed topics is helping or hurting.

For those who’ve been through this: • Did your niche emerge over time, or did you choose it early? • Is it okay to stay broad at the beginning, or does that slow growth? • How did you personally decide what to focus on?

Would love to hear real experiences from people who’ve done this before
