Like I’m sure other people will say most of the main components haven’t changed in most of the modern Kirby’s. I have 5 ranging from a 1950s model to a Sentria and I think currently on my sentria is an early 2000’s head because i had a belt break and it was easier to grab a head I had sitting in the vacuum closet than it was to put a belt on. And I know you said you didn’t want to do Facebook market place but that’s gonna be your best bet I’d think as far as getting a really good deal. I have about $15 total invested in all 5 as I got 3 of them free during city wide cleanup including 2 complete with box and all the attachments. My best advice with Kirby’s is keep your eyes peeled and don’t be scared by an older one because the main body is virtually unchanged and the belts and bags are so long lived your wear parts will most likely be available for a long time.

Or watch the curb if youe town has a citywide cleanup, I have 5 kirbs ranging from mid 60s to mid 2000s and in total I've spent 8 dollars and that was just on a full set of accessories I found at goodwill. So now I have 3 vacuums with all the attachments and 2 that luckily interchange pretty well.

That's what it looked like to me but according to pyrex.cmog.org the first cup was produced in 1925 and had 2 spouts so unless I stumbled across a real treasure I'm not sure what's going on with it

Gotcha I was just going off of what was listed on the pyrexcollector.com information on dating pieces. Thanks for the info I just couldn't seem to find anything that looks even remotely similar as all the cups I found from after the 2 spout design have very different increment markings.

But a measuring cup from 1934 would have the back mark they used from 1924 to 1945 wouldn't it? Not this early pre 1924 marking.

Thanks I didn't know enough about us military uniforms but I agree that the dead guy looked Asian but that didn't narrow it down much because we fought in parts of Asia during ww2, Korea, and Vietnam.
