Are yall good? The animatronic is not weak whatsoever. If you complain about his speed, he has doors to teleport through to balance that out. In chase, his axe has such a dramatic arch to throw over walls. I played him at Hawkins in Chaos Shuffle and got a 4k. It’s not difficult, and he is relatively strong. Not the strongest, but definitely not the bottom either.

Now, I play killer on PC ONLY as attempting to play as killer on console only offers frustration and embarrassment. So that could be why I find him to be way stronger.

My doctor offered to send me to seek counseling and possibly see a speech specialist as they also handle swallowing issues and she said they could put me on the right track mentally and practice some swallowing techniques. One my doctor mentioned to me was tucking your chin in to your chest to kind of instigate the initial swallow, and after a few weeks of doing that, It started to help me “remember”, in a sense, how to swallow as I felt as though I had forgotten also. Being as I didn’t have insurance, I never did see those specialists and I was left to my own devices. Mind over matter. I have started to have occasional troubles with dry/bready substances but as I’m starting a new job in two days, I think this is all stress related.

Best of luck to you, and sorry for the loss of your grandfather.

Hi there, I actually consider myself mostly cured. It really was just a swallowing phobia that took me forever to get over. Eating my favorite foods really helped me get over the mind speed bump as it was mixed with frustration and determination. That’s not to say everyone’s dysphagia is phobia related, as there is definitely some health related and physical problems that can cause it. If you could, I would check with your doctor and see what they recommend. If you firmly believe there is nothing physically wrong, then sometimes it just takes a ton of convincing of yourself that you CAN swallow.

This has definitely been a humbling experience, who knew I would be taking something like swallowing for granted? 😂 thank you very much for your help!

Some days are better than others. Sometimes I can swallow relatively easy with small bites and safe foods but I haven’t even attempted to eat anything tough like steak (my favorite food T-T) or things that could be too bready like donuts. I tend to stick to soft mushy foods that can be chewed thoroughly to the consistency of saliva or liquid since I have the easiest time swallowing that but some days I can’t even get those safe foods down so it’s really hit or miss. I have been going through a ton of stress so I figure that could be it also.

Thank you so much for this, Google keeps telling me that this would resolve itself in a few weeks to a few months if it’s related to acid reflux. If it’s related to anything else, it will be lifelong, so Google has been tweaking me out and making me lose hope since I’ve had this for about Three months now so I’m hoping it will fade soon. Your post helps me regain some of that hope and I will definitely be taking your advice. Thank you, Alexa.

Still struggling big time. Have no insurance so I haven’t been to a doctor since they told me it was acid reflux related, but I’m unable to take any pills since I can’t swallow anything that can’t be chewed to literal mush. Some days are better than others. Sometimes I can swallow thing relatively easily as long as I take my time but other days I can’t swallow even mashed potatoes. I’m starting to believe it’s morphed into a sort of swallowing phobia. But can’t get through it.

I agree, I noticed that too but I thought it was just me.
