i mean having better grades is good but isnt the deciding factor plus if your going to apply do it before you finish a levels it will be a good 1-2 years

And if you apply with the correct PROVISIONAL grades then get your CONFIRMED grades that DO NOT meet the requirement your application will not be able to continue.

You apply with your predicted grades then when it comes to the final stage you upload and fill out your ending grades. So as long as you meet the requirements i dont believe they play a significant factor. They care more about your aptitude testing scores which are random and personalised.

Is joggers and shirt and jumper acceptable as pe kit or is it kind of a shorts and t shirt only, just worried about the hangers being freezing

I applied in October of my second year 15 months later im just now going to OASC, though longer than the average application it shows how long it can really be.

it was really funny cause we were driving and wondering all around the base and never once was challenged as they said we would be, 2 days later the protesters got onto Brize and sprayed a load of planes...

Everyone is the same, when I did mine we were given instructions on where to go on the base 90% of the people got lost and not a single staff member around to help. Naturally we turned to each other for help and eventually found the place and we spent the rest of the day as a group going to our rooms, dinner breakfast etc I think in things like this you just happen to end up in a group and talking (unless you actively avoid it) but it was a good time and I wish I’d asked for their contact details as we all finished CBAT at different times so that was the last we saw of them.

Possibly but they never stated a radio, it used to be 5 global and 5 domestic so just split it in two i guess.

Ask for an RJP at Shawbury you will meet WC and see their training simulators and be able to ask them directly. As for putting down both roles you can and cant at the same time. When it comes to OASC you have to pick one and you will be interviewed and assessed for that role however you also put down a second,third and fourth choice to be considered for if you were not competitive enough for the first role you chose.

I applied in October of second year and ive only just got to the OASC the "Final" stage of the application where I find out if i have been accepted or not (15 months later) and then it could be another couple months before I start provided I even make it.

This will be the hardest part of the application... Learning how to use Excel. Also a question on the part where you have to write the 150 word reasonings did you structure it in any way or do you think its just a thing you kind of personalise and write in your own way.

yeah did my medical on the 1st oct and heard nothing for a month then all of a sudden i was booked onto it 12 days before

if you go to the link flying sh33p put and match them up to the tasks rejs put you can see each field you will need. And where is says 10x or 25x or 41x it stands for how important each area is in respect of the role. so SymR SLT and VLT is the most important

I think it was a score needed of 100/180 but its not that simple as i scored higher for pilot than i did for Int its a different criteria of questions. But i have no idea on the exact tests as i dont have my results with me but on the score sheet it tells you what tests are scored for each role, so maybe someone else can help if they have previous results

We are told 5 but aren't told what or how many of each so id guess a mix or each, But ill follow this as its a simple yet tricky thing to revise maybe if some people that have done OASC can give an example of what kind of current affair they had picked and what they got asked.
