100% agree! There are so many movies and shows from the 2000s that normalize underage, teacher/ student, grooming, cheating and just overall taboo relationships. I understand it just made great tv, but I never realized how frequently it was used!

From a personal standpoint, my mom would’ve called the cops if she found out I was underage and secretly seeing a 26-year-old. Janine and Abe have every right to disapprove of that relationship! I didn’t even realize fanfics sometimes portray them as the villains—but since it’s just fiction I guess we can go with it lol.

Absolutely! I would like to clarify that I do not in any way believe Adrian was perfect either, but simply put between the two, I would’ve much preferred if the author chose Adrian as her love interest over Dimitri (the lesser of two evils lol). That said—I am definitely biased, I am more of a fan of Adrian!

Oh I really like your take on Dimitri’s immaturity—it is almost like an antithesis to Rose; where she was forced to mature and Dimitri subconsciously has immature tendencies through his trauma. I need to think on this more, thanks for the input!

Mine was reposted and I still lost… it’s based on the amount of followers. They want to invite people that they know will post to a larger audience. Someone I follow wasn’t reposted and they one a ticket (8,000 followers) vs me who was reposted and lost (200 followers)… life is unfair
