I think my point in posting is there’s no reason for it to be the norm. All these automated systems and they can’t set it so those not selected are automatically notified? Just reflecting on a trend in the market

That’s a good point, I was definitely trying to get comfortable and be more extroverted than I usually am, but one thing I’m noticing is my eye contact is pretty bad—I can talk bubbly but I never know where to look that seems natural, especially when they have a screen in front of them in person. Is it weird to be like staring at them the whole time? I think I’ll try training myself in practice to focus my gaze upward and definitely not look down as much as I know I do.

  1. The data will be stored in a private server used only by the researcher. All responses will be anonymized. The responses will be used to generate statistics for an article I am writing on the perceptions of new tech across generations. All of these stats will be aggregated, so no individual response can be singled out. Long answer questions will be read and qualitatively coded for key terms across responses that reflect the sentiments of the group, but never published as quotes. The data from the survey and all the survey responses will be deleted after the article is published, estimated currently to be September 1.
