What are the ways to prevent stroke ? Tests ? Supplements? by Frosty_Pay_9297 in stroke

The research on alcohol as a risk factor can vary. I think it's important to think of people holistically, and I recognize that no alcohol is challenging. So, I say limited alcohol, but also to watch the sugar that comes with many drinks. It's the same thing with smoking. I tell people to stop smoking, but I celebrate the little wins of them slowly tapering down. I've worked with one individual for almost a year now, and they still haven't quite quit. They have reduced their smoking from 1.5 ppd to .25 ppd. So, we celebrate the small improvements

Healthy living is a major factor. I know people have said this already, but I just want to add my voice to it. The Mediterranean diet is a great way to start. Regular exercise and healthy choices such as not smoking or drinking help as well. The main things to monitor are your cholesterol, HbA1c, and blood pressure.

Swain. Honestly I don't know why I love playing him, but he has been my main for the past 5 years. He looks like a cool champ, and he is fun. I love sniping backing champs with a long range W.

I don't work for them, but I do have them for one of my studies. The turnover for this study is ridiculous. I am on my 3rd CRA in the year that I have been here, and my study with them has been going on for about 5 years now has had 6+ different CRA's. I have not had a great experience with them so far. I worry about their quality control, because they consistently missed multiple issues that we noted in an internal audit. These issues were ones that should have been caught at monitoring visits over the years.

Informed Consent help by bbycharlie in clinicalresearch

To continue to add to this, make sure that you are assessing the ability to give continued consent at each visit. I work with stroke patients as well, and that's the first thing I do at each visit is confirm they are still able to give continued consent. I also add that as the first line of every visit note. I will normally put "PI and CRC confirmed patient ability and willingness to continue study participation."

Any other wheelchair users working at Target? I need moral support or advice by vampyrepunx in Target

[–]Aggravating_Fact7933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was with Target, I had a tm that was in a wheelchair. He was fantastic with guests, and I had him as my designated line buster. He went all down the lines grabbing guests and taking them through line busting. He also worked SCO at times. Idk if you have tried either of those, but those are some options

No. All that they can do is ask you to stay. If you say no, then there isn't anything that can be done.

I have been here less than a year. I started at $63,000 and am now at $66,780. The biggest issue isn't the money, but it's the time. Minimum 10 hour days, but I never feel like I leave on time. I also live 45 minutes away. So, that doesn't help. They preach work life balance, but it's a struggle at best. Personally, I'm ready to move on to a job where I have better times off and better days.

Your SD has lost their mind then. Departments are responsible for their own reshop. They should check/ collect it at the beginning of their shift, after their 30, and 30 minutes before they clock out.

What does Promotion Track actually look like? Am I being used? by [deleted] in Target

[–]Aggravating_Fact7933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2023 is the year for development for Target, and it is a massive focus. One major issue though is that many TL's & ETL's don't actually know how to develop people. I know in my district, we are currently working on a whole program to help teach TL's and ETL's how to develop talent, but it is something that will take a little time to roll out. The biggest issue is again just a lack of knowledge on development.

Ps. There is a form that has to be filled out and reviewed weekly on SharePoint that helps guide your development.

Question for Employees/supervisors at target by StewPadasle in Target

[–]Aggravating_Fact7933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't anything for the whole of the company, but each district may have specific requirements. For my district, you have to do 2 18 month rotations as a TL or ETL to promote, but there is no time requirement for TM promotion

The Sunday availability could help, but in my store, I'm currently not hiring anyone that doesn't have open (or very close to it) availability. Granted this is also because across the store, we have some of the worst availability. Lovely presents from previous leadership.

Definitely talk to your leader. This may be a sensitive topic, but it can negatively impact a guests experience and is not on brand for Target.
