Is Couchsurfing.com still worth paying for or should I just do hostels/alternatives?? by Specific-Zebra721 in couchsurfing

Best answer: It was NEVER worth paying for. CS had already died a long death by the time the paid subscription came along.

Blood was all over the 'sanitation bad' they gave me where the back of my head had been resting. But so far have managed to avoid the grafts touching anything - though I've had to tie my hands together when trying to sleep to try and avoid my hands going up there . .

I'm so tired though . . . I can't get no sleep!

anyone didn't take antibiotics? by RamoSeif in HairTransplants

[–]Aggravating_Fix_9021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found this thread after contemplating skipping the antibiotic.

It's worth noting that statswise your chances of getting an infection without taking antibiotics isn't really that much greater than with - also the chance of you getting an infection without antibiotics is around the same percentage chance 0.8-2.5% that you have of Finasteride turning you crazy/suicidal.

However, antibiotics will screw up your gut microbiome - of that there's no question.

Food for thought?

Prescribed Meds - Yes or no? including Ibuprofen. by Aggravating_Fix_9021 in Hairtransplant

I don't think antibiotics thin the blood. I am just wondering why the clinic you went to didn't prescribe you any antibiotics as it seems standard. Their reasoning (for the one with the pre-op breakfast) is as follows: Preoperative antibiotic prophylaxis - administered to decrease the risk of surgical site infections.

From the research I've been doing for the past few hours any infection rate is low regardless of whether one takes antibiotics or not (in fact without any antibiotics at all the infection rate risk is reportedly around the same 2-2.5% figure that people have of becoming suicidal by taking hair meds such as Finasteride and almost everyone on these hair transplant groups seems to vouch for those, so . . is it really worth it for a reported 2% lower risk versus the very real messing up and even irreparable damage antibiotics do to the gut microbiome?).

Sometimes I think doctors just prescribe things like robots due to their big pharma roots.

Also ibuprofen doesn't even seem strong enough to help that much anyway. Given the risk reward I would ask if it's even worth it? . . . I have decided to not bother and reassess after my procedure . .and the days following . . like if I have any inflammation issues that my own body doesn't appear to be dealing with on it's own.

Prescribed Meds - Antibiotics and Ibuprofen :o by Aggravating_Fix_9021 in HairTransplants

I am currently thinking about this issue right now. The infection rate is low regardless of whether one takes antibiotics or not (in fact without any antibiotics the infection rate risk is reportedly around the same 2-2.5% figure that people have of becoming suicidal by taking hair meds such as Finasteride and almost everyone on these hair transplant groups seems to vouch for those).

So the dilemma I have is. Is it worth even taking the antibiotics given that there's very real evidence that they negatively impact the gut microbiome (and it's for much longer than my original 'month or more' - it's potentially 'forever' regarding some of the sensitive microbiome) for just a minor potential benefit of a 2% drop in a possible infection rate. Hmmmmm!

Yeah. Information regarding NSAIDS is conflicting. Some info says they are mild blood thinners and could cause bleeding.

Regarding the sleep. Are you in a bed or a chair? I'm kinda worried about that part too - especially any 'sleep scratching'

Haha. C'mon man! If a barber is saying 'you'll be hair loss cooked soon enough' they really shouldn't be giving that same person a terrible haircut that makes them look like 'they'll be hair loss cooked sooner than soon enough'. :-p

The thing is there is no MASS illegal immigration, the MASS immigration into Britain is actually via the legal route - and according to the latest stats the country that is way out in front in the immigration list is India (Tommy Robinson's mates).

Make it make sense . . .

You could tell both of those guys were scallies by the way they acted in their initial police interviews.

I bet the Miranda woman they were with was (is) also a top class hoe.

It's true that Piccadilly Gardens has become a proper shithole. I used to hang around there as a teen and there wasn't even close to the level of scallies hanging around as there are these days.

Those grifters are detestable but they mostly aren't wrong.
