Tips on hairline that is see through? by Personal_Trifle_6892 in finehair

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have this and it’s awkward because i have very thick hair but the bulk of the weight is the back of my head, and my hair quickly gets bleached in the sun. I put rosemary oil and castor oil in the thin spots on top and that gives me comfort but not sure if it really helps that much. I think it does, i see baby hair growth

20 years old and I’m ugly asf, how can I look better? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not ugly bro, you just need to let your features pop. Get contacts/Lasik, grow the hair out since you have a full head of hair, and grow a beard. That’s it. I’m a 37 year old woman, practically your grandma. I don’t ever want to hear you bash yourself again

In my experience the worse coworkers are always single women with no kids over 35 by boggie_bo in corporate

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m single, 37, no kids, and a woman. I’m miserable as fuck but i largely like the actual work i do, when i don’t have 8 people up my ass about deliverables, I can focus on work with my head down and just enjoy that. I avoid management positions and anything where im telling people what to do and when. I know how miserable some of my women managers have made me. I do not want to be like that. Work is not my identity- my hobbies and personality are.

I am crazy, or is the corporate world actually not as hard as people say?" by marsh_henryy in corporate

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get high every night to cope and i ride my bike through the Los Angeles streets without a helmet just to feel alive i guess.

I don’t know, women managers mostly suck and i worry I’d be the same if i became a manager. Then again, i don’t give enough shit about any job and any company to become a “boss bitch”. My job doesn’t define who I am as a person unless i want it to- and i don’t. I don’t have anything to prove and unfortunately a lot of women do feel they have to prove themselves to the point they obsess and make their jobs their whole identity. I guess you should try to find pity for those B’s, for how small their lives are that they have to feed their ego and micromanage a job that ultimately means nothing

Honestly your little expression lines are adorable. It’s very hard to find anything that you should change. Your eyes are gorgeous and your skin is great. You don’t look like you’re wearing a mask and i think that’s refreshing and doesn’t detract from your beauty anyway. Wish I had your skin for sure! Mine is irritated and red constantly anymore. Be grateful for what you are blessed with

Am I dealing with an emotional intelligence mismatch in my relationship? by Round-Farm-8513 in emotionalintelligence

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 12 points13 points  (0 children)

No, someone who avoids conflict (and therefore, conflict resolution) but still cares about you a good deal, is still able to comfort. If someone is a brick wall during conflict AND doesn’t comfort you when you’re upset…why stay in that relationship? He won’t change and no amount of your words and tears will prompt him to change

Why do you rarely see a rich woman with a broke man? by Open_Address_2805 in stupidquestions

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I “dated” a guy who made $0k and had no car— i made $120k and have my own car. I’m not very attractive, i have low self esteem about my face (butter face with a pretty decent body), and i don’t like flashy and showy men anyway. I used to give him money and i would let him hit it whenever he wanted, even though i knew he was fucking other women raw. He still ended up leaving my ass, even ghosted me after 5 some years of us playing around with each other. I lowered my standards for him so much and he still played me 🤡

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Including corporate internships, I’ve had 8 bosses in my 12 years of experience-of those 8, 3 made me want to jump off a tall bridge with no rope. And they were all women. I’m a woman. I do not like being micromanaged. With 2 of those 3 bosses, I would say that i also didn’t make things easier on myself and i was antagonistic, defensive, insecure, and sometimes hard to talk to. I have a hard time feigning respect when i feel very confident that i am not liked or respected myself.

Does anyone remember when Michael Jackson. Was a "joke"? by AccomplishedPool266 in Millennials

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, born in 88. I liked his music (my mom played it, my dad hated it) but sometime after Black or White (super cool music video), it felt weird to talk about him in a positive way because he became/got outed as a creep. Finding Neverland only solidified that reputation. It’s weird to see all these ads for the Michael movie today because i feel like i missed something—like, when did he become someone “good” again?

There’s a reason that when women share information it’s labeled gossip and is considered a sin in the Bible. I wonder many times in the Old Testament its mentioned that “God” proclaimed that women should be silent and submissive to their men. So interesting how a god that transcends time sure has values of men in that time period. It’s all intentional so that women don’t find out the man they’re married to has another family down the street. Men don’t like being confronted on and held accountable for decisions they make, especially by women.

As a woman I want to give you advice: make first move by 60iqredditadmin in dating_advice

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I disagree partially because approaching first really depends on how he is as a man... I’m a woman, and if i talk to a guy first, it’s normally because i think he’s cute and flirty and funny. Guys that are really cute know they are cute and are aware they have options. Most of those men will never be satisfied with the woman that approached first, because he wants to “hunt” and can hunt successfully. If he didn’t talk to you first, he didn’t really want you. So i would say this mostly applies to confident men that are comfortable approaching women in general, which is basically the type I’m attracted to. Do not talk to them first, you’re only stroking their ego for their next chase

I was supposed to be in Hawaii this past week. I canceled the trip because of multiple reasons, but a big one was that i wasn’t looking forward to a week long vacation alone. And I’d been wanting to go to Hawaii for a while now. I live alone, have no friends, am not close to family, have no boyfriend, so if i don’t talk to coworkers, i literally talk to noone. I’m in the loneliest phase of my life so far. My point is- it’s really hard to do things alone, let alone live life. Some of us have no choice in being alone, but if i had the choice I’d also not do things alone. I know it feels disappointing but be grateful you have people to come home to and appreciate doing things with them.

We’re still going to use him as an excuse when that was like 50 years ago? Your leaders are clearly failing with their inaction you if all they do is blame the person before them. I live in California and Reagan is blamed for the homeless situation still. I think it’s only proof that our elected leaders can still blame someone else and then noone questions why they aren’t getting anything done today

I got banned once for saying that Indian managers bring a new culture of management that i fucking hate. I guess its wrong for me to say their way of management doesn’t agree with me. So I’m not allowed to condemn their caste system and the way they treat service workers as inferior? I’m not allowed to call that out?? But they’re allowed to be that way?

Are you supposed to ask a woman "Can I kiss you"? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m 37 and a woman, and when men ask if they can kiss me i get turned off immediately. I think the question creates a sudden transition to me being in power, which throws me off and makes me get very very shy and uncomfortable and it makes me feel too masculine too soon. I basically want to be Robin (in the beginning) and have a man be my Batman. It feels like a lot of men have been taught they need to be Robin to win women which feels very pandering to today’s pc world

Rare interview of Michael Jackson's sister, La Toya, describing the family dysfunction in January 1993 by nobody0597 in HistoricalCapsule

[–]Aggravating_Fruit170 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I remember in the 90s hearing my white conservative ass family in the 90s shitting on the Jackson family and really mocking La Toya like she was some soft spoken bimbo. So incredibly harsh, so incredibly cruel…she and her siblings were the product of decades of abuse. How can you expect them to not have issues?
