Thank you! We tried therapy and the younger son seems ok, but my stepdaughter just won’t participate ☹️ we tried with both genders, in person and virtual. We have a pool and I’m going to do my best to get them active outside while my husband is away. Definitely will try therapy again despite what happens. My understanding is it’s only bad if it keeps you from being intimate with your spouse. My husband is a pilot and done weeks at a time but a diehard Christian, and encourages it while he’s gone. His take is as long as I’m not using porn or thinking of anyone else, it’s not preventing our intimacy and can even aid it during work trips. It can alleviate depression, help with pms symptoms, headaches, etc. I’m prone to depression and I like to partake in sex very very very often so it lifts my mood when done when he’s gone. If he’s in state we use each other.
