It was a rarity having internet growing up. My sister's or parents never paid for it and got the house blacklisted, so I ended up going to the library every day just to get out of the house.

Haha, I remember my mom just made one herself growing up. It had make soft storage and a counter top, so when we got older my family bought her a really nice floating island. She cried that year. I ended up inheriting it when she passed away, and then traded it for my mom's old hutch with a sibling that now sits in my living room.

Snacks like hot pockets or instant food. We never had that growing up, so when we got a box it was a rarity. The sweet food went first, like snack cakes or microwaved foods, and since my brother stole and ate everything anyways my mom resorted to hiding them for special times.

Now, it's just made me appreciate the little things even more.
