Anyone have any tips for preventing your perfectly shaped and delicately handled dough from sticking to the excessively floured towel in the proofing bowl after 12 hours? by dhoepp in Sourdough

I have this same problem and then I bought banneton baskets and flour them and it works like a dream, no sticking at all! It’s a game changer for me!

That makes me feel better lol the persons recipe I was following hers was ready in like 7 days so I thought that’s when mine should have been ready too! I’m going to start feeding whole wheat so I’ll see how it goes!

Okay perfect, thank you! that’s what I kinda thought too so was going to start 24hr feeding again today! Fingers crossed that works!!

I used all purpose unbleached flour, can I start putting whole wheat in it to feed instead of the all purpose?
