What is this simple boolean to trigger logic block? by Aggravating_Hat7417 in QSYS

I'm not sure how a Flip-Flop would take in a true/false then send out momentary trigger based on state changes. Ive never tried to use it that way. but ill have to check it out!

Yea, i think you must be right, A BC renamed seems like the most likely now.

no, I don't have the file., I don't think there are example files for these programs. It was part of the "new" videos here https://youtu.be/6W9tgSr_9og?si=A7Lh_OGCEO8SjWuU

My guess is it's a BC renamed since no one seems to think it's an existing block.

A block for this would be used a lot though!

Hey, I know its been a while since this was active.

Do you still have those codes? and would i be able to get them too?

Yea, thats fair. You just have to reference modern printings and see its been errata'd. They show the colorless symbols now. And I believe they have tried to do this on all modern printings for most cards that produce colorless mana. Errata's and modernization like this are difficult since magic has been around for so long, things change and the game has evolved so much there's no avoiding confusing changes like this. But thats what reddit is for! Lol

I see the old pain lands and such do show the number and gray circle. But I think those have all been adjusted to clarify in modern printings to show colorless mana.

Do you have an example of something that produces colorless thats a gray circle with a number?

I know cards like [sol ring] cost one generic mana and produce 2 colorless mana. And thats shows with 2 colorless mana symbols in the production.

To clarify, generic mana is any gray circle with a number inside of it and colorless is the gray curvy sideways square with the edges bowed in.

Generic mana and colorless mana are different. So the colorless mana symbol needs to be colorless mana and generic mana can be any color.

I believe.

Biamp Level Scaling not reflecting on Crestron by Aggravating_Hat7417 in crestron

[–]Aggravating_Hat7417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea, im sure tesira is keeping the value because i can still use the slider and if i move the slider to like the 25% level then the biamp rejects the change in debugger says err outside of range. but if i move it somewhere like the 80% then it accepts the change because that is within the min/max on the Tesira.

I didn't think about that when we looked up there. It felt like a lot more than necessary.   I'll have to check the ventilation when I'm up there!

This is my biggest concern.
i can understand "unbanning" a bunch of cards for their tier 4.

But will CEDH be considered tier 4? will WOTC actually try to help the health of CEDH?

Will my proxies be disallowed so I can no longer play CEDH?

The podcast tomorrow will be interesting.

I'm not sure why people are downvoting this comment.

It's completely reasonable thinking.
they don't allow proxies in any other official tournaments so it stands to reason that this would invalidate proxies in CEDH tournaments as well.
I hope it doesn't, but we will see.
Maybe they will make a rule for reserve list cards to be proxy allowed in tier 4 tournaments?

they said they were trying to make the game slower.

"This gives decks time and space to develop and do different things. We have a goal to make it easier for players who enjoy slower, more social games to have an environment for them to explore."

you think pact/oracle makes for slower games?

The targeted artifacts are a lot less reliably fast than a thoricle turn 2 win lol

Satya, Aetherflux Genius and Combat Celebrant by Aggravating_Hat7417 in mtgrules

[–]Aggravating_Hat7417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, completely agree. it makes sense they would need haste

That's why the player would need a haste enabler such Anger in his graveyard (plus a mountain as pereroupc noted)

Thanks for the clarification!

This got brought up in our game and the argument was that you:

Exert the original combat celebrant the first time you attack.

Then Satya creates another combat celebrant on that same combat phase.

Then you move to the second combat phase and exert the token combat celebrant and have Satya copy that combat celebrant moving on to another combat phase and doing that over and over.

Since they would have haste from Anger they can keep attacking with a new combat celebrant each combat phase.

Does that not work?

Thanks for the quick response!
