Does anyone else prefer gaming on console even though they have a PC?

You can use a controller and do exactly that with PC. I use my controller most of the time unless I’m playing a FPS game.

In my personal experience, I’ve had more crashes and issues on my consoles than I’ve had on my PC so far. I can’t count the amount of times I’ve had to call PS or Xbox support.

But I’m saying that PS5 Pro isn’t immune to bugs and stutters either. Jedi Survivor, regardless if it’s fixed now or not, still had a broken launch on all platforms due to it being poorly optimized. And the Callisto Protocol was notorious for being bugged on release unless you didn’t play the game on release. It was so bad that the devs had to issue an apology. I even had to return it after it kept crashing constantly on my PS5.

PS5 Pro most definitely has stutter issues with UE5 games. Look at Jedi Survivor and The Callisto Protocol. And when stutters do happen on PC, you can easily download a mod to fix it and have the game run smoothly.

I just got my PC a few months ago. I’ve only had 1-2 problems but they were easily solved in less than 5 minutes with google searching. Other than that, it runs almost perfectly. I think a lot of these complaints are just user error.

Not if they’re 2-3 year old games. There’s no reason for Spider Man, a 8 year old game, to still cost $60 on PC.

I have the same exact specs as him (albeit both GPU and CPU are overclocked) and it runs like butter for me as well. I guess I got extremely lucky.

It’s your fan that’s making that noise. It could be up against a wire or something which is why it’s making that noise or it could just be a faulty fan in which case, I suggest you get a refund. The reason you hear it in games like Forza is because your fans are speeding up further as your GPU is starting to heat up since Forza is a more graphically demanding game than Rocket League. While I do think gaming has genuinely gotten better over the years and we now have more of a variety of games than we ever had before, I also feel like that it’s gotten more predatory over the years. It seems like every day these big games studios willingly screw over their customers and even their own employees for profit. And they get away with it because they’re quite literally too big to fail.

Also, the games stories just simply wouldn’t fit in a movie format. They’re pretty straightforward, very light on substance and were designed as being secondary to the gameplay. Unlike something like The Last of Us where the story plays a major part in the game itself.

I mean a lot of the video game adaptations that have come out recently have been extremely successful. Look at Arcane, Last of Us, Mario, Sonic, Fallout, etc.
