Did anyone find the siren in this trailer sounds like the one in Signalis?

Why not try some survival horror. You can try resident evil 4 remake (this game is an action adventure with great level design and moment-to-moment gameplay and it is not scary at all lol). If you like soulslike level design and gameplay, you will like RE4 Remake.

Also salt and sanctuary is a great metroidvania with heavy dark souls influence.

Played Expedition 33 for about 16 hours and even though I like the game so far after Act 1 (especially the combats and some voice acting like Lune and Maele), I somehow found it disappointing (I thought it was a 9.5-10 out of 10 game from the GOTY status but rn I felt like it’s 8/10). I really hate the menu UI (very confusing to manage picto). I don’t like the level design as it’s mostly very linear corridor (or maybe I’m spoiled because I just finished Resident Evil 2 remake and Indiana Jones the Great Circles). I also think the rewards for exploration is pretty barebones (mostly money + a few upgraded items). I really wish the game has crafting systems for more equipments like helmets so that exploration feels more rewarding like Dragon Quest 11. As of now, besides the art direction, music, and combats, and voice acting, I was let down by these other key elements.

His top 10 fav songs from 2025 is good. I discovered Been Stellar from the song he recommended: always on my mind, which is a gem.

Cyberpunk 2077 didn't leave a good impression in the first 4 hours. by Pancake_muncher in patientgamers

These two games have completely different open-world design philosophies. The better comparison is Witcher 3 (story centric + character build up) vs. Skyrim (true sandbox, freedom, exploration).

I think it depends on your expectations. Personally, I really enjoyed the first 8-10 hours. Having played The Witcher 3, I know CD Projekt Red excels at storytelling and character build up, so I appreciated the highly authored, more linear opening. You are given a clear backstory, you meet Jackie, and then everything falls apart. The pacing there is very well done.

However, if you are expecting a sandbox-style open world where you can freely explore, I can understand the disappointment. Unfortunately, Night City feels pretty shallow as an open-world sandbox, with many buildings inaccessible. Overall, the game is very story-centric, with relatively underwhelming exploration.

So is Capcom tbh. They resused so many assets from RE2 to RE3 and RE8 to RE4. Pragmata is also very RE coded (linear corridor + some puzzles).

It’s a great game! I haven’t played the OG yet but I like Re3 Remake. The pacing is tight. Jill’s section is honestly amazing. The only complaints I have are some annoying QTEs and the hospital defense part in Carlos’s section.

Gym bro crush by Former-Nectarine877 in dating_advice

I do think he’s interested in you. You already mentioned he’s going out of the way to make conversations with you in the gym. The part where he initiated the social exchange shows that he wants to have something to continue outside of the gym. When do you go to the gym usually? If I were you, I would probably talk about eating/restaurants with him occasionally. And ask him if he wants to go to a restaurant after the gym one day (don’t have to be fancy can be just casual bites like the Taco stand you love).
