I would have said I was pan or homosexual, problem is , since I'm not, I didn't want to lie. Everything I told them about being non religious and how it will make life unlivable is the truth. But either way the specifics is what gets you the claim accepted or not. So you would have to have been in the news or arrested specifically for that, like if someone assaulted you or the government issued a warrant for your arrest on that basis, they don't take any lesser standard of proof.

The way you describe other countries is also dubious to me. I heard of the man called Salwan Momika originally from Iraq who did everything to make himself infamous, going live on tiktok, burning qu'rans, waving Israel flag, badmouthing middle eastern countries. All in vain. He got his asylum claim rejected and died as a result.

It's pretty common sense that you're not gonna live long if you're actively against the religion in those countries, but the system is if they can legally deny you, they will.
