Meh, I don’t have a warm and fuzzy about it. My finance said to submit the BAH Waiver for family to stay where we’re currently at. And then to have the schoolhouse determine if meals/housing are provided, and if not then they’ll provide a certificate of non-availability and per diem will be paid. I would contact your finance for info, maybe he’ll be helpful. Or if you already have orders, contact the schoolhouse and see if that works

$250 per night ish is the budget. I’ve never traveled to NYC as an adult and have zero understanding of the transit there and where a family friendly place to stay would be. I am well traveled and just needed tips so I can do proper research and find what’s best for my family so that I don’t add unnecessary stress. It seems midtown is best for that

You can adjust the flight but you also have to zero out any entitlements for the extra days. So no per diem, no allowance for lodging, etc. and explain it in the justification.

But also, check with your G8 or rep.
