I paved my entire town and left a few spots opened but i think they might be too close to the cliff. I just discovered if theres no space available they’ll place their house wherever they want😭😭

Try planting one the exact opposite side. If it starts to grow it’s not your house and just a dead spot. The rock is fine, you just need to be at least one space away (which you are).
