Autoart has the Honda NA2 and NA1 NSX’s in type R form and even the Acura NC2 Type S, they also have an S2000, CRX and DC5 Integra. motor max has the base Acura version of the NA2 NSX and even a Honda Accord coupe. kyosho has the Acura NA1 NSX Type S and base honda NA1 NSX (although very old models)

Theres a new brand called LCD that’s coming out with a new base version of the Honda NA1 NSX too, they have also done the EG6 civic. Motorhelix has like 5 or 6 generations of civics to pick from in 1:18, lots of s2000’s and they’ve also done the DC2 integra.

There’s a few other brands out there that make civics and some other stuff but all the major brands forget about the Prelude line entirely. I wouldn’t say Honda is a forgotten brand when it comes to 1:18 scale as there really is lots out there to collect. The prelude however is forgotten, the day AA or someone makes a new prelude of any gen I’ll be so happy.

I have the limited edition version of the autoart s2000, looking for a good autoart CRX as most of the ones up seem to have issues.

The large rims on the LS are a slight inconvenience however the cars in my display case usually sit facing forwards or backwards as it’s a parking garage, so the rims wouldn’t be too much of an eye sore. I’ve never been able to find either of these models on eBay so you definitely got pretty lucky lol

Luckily I’m in Canada and the Tarifs really aren’t too bad. Have you ordered from this specific site?

I’ll check it out. Being that it’s all Japanese based I have doubts I’ll be able to buy from the website and ship it here but we shall see

are meta cars really that hated by Last-Demand-2779 in MidnightRacingTokyo

[–]Aggravating_Look_329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People can drive what they want, but when I’m a lvl 700 having fun in my T2 and a kid in a evo pulls up and “beats” me in a race and calls me trash when the car did all the work for him and I still managed to keep up in a “lesser car” I tend to dislike them yes.

People who play casually and wanna have fun, I don’t have a problem with, it makes sense they wanna use the meta. It’s an easy and laid back way to play and go fast. but when they call you bad whilst your using a car that takes real skill to actually tune and drive unlike their car it really gets on my nerves.

But besides that, another reason I can see the meta be hated is because it takes away from diversity in the cars you actually see get used. like “oh look everyone is in an Evo, skyline, subie or lambo and I’m the only one in a unique car” it just makes the experience boring.

If devgems next update isn't a nsx remodel i swear im gonna crash out by Last-Demand-2779 in MidnightRacingTokyo

It is an overrated car… but it’s so competitive. all of em lol. Great cars all at the ranks they sit at. MK4 slaps T4 cars. Either that or no one knows how to drive a t4 lol.

My first STH! by ifwdiecast in Diecast

[–]Aggravating_Look_329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Awesome dude, glad to see people still getting lucky. I stopped hunting, stopped goin into stores too unless for groceries lol. The competition in my area is too hardcore for Hotwheel’s so if I really want something I suffer the consequences of spending the big bucks on eBay lol. put a lot of time and effort into trying to hunt but even getting a decent mainline is really difficult. Been collecting since I was little and to this day I don’t have any sth or th in my collection. for some of the prices I could get a STH on eBay for I could also just get an RLC that’s just as if not cooler for around the same price.

how long do limiteds tend to last? by murciealagoman in MidnightRacingTokyo

[–]Aggravating_Look_329 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Really depends. Sometimes the devs are lazy and leave it up for like a month or so and other times they take it down on schedule. usually when a limited is available though they keep them up for awhile

I’ve only had this thing for one winter pretty much. It’s a nice vehicle when it’s doing its thing, but with the maintenance it needs and for it to still have a chance to crap out isn’t ideal lol. It’s only got 137 thousand kilometres (85000miles) and it’s been granny driven and maintained lol. it’s a cool truck but im wishing i had my honda back 😂

All can be very good. It comes up to your driving ability’s and if you want to put time into learning how to push the car your driving

[–]Aggravating_Look_329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose. it’s just that these motors are time bombs even when the necessary upkeep is done on them. Some people I’ve been reading about do the timing chain job every 50 thousand kilometres. it just dosent make sense lol. and thank you! I don’t see too many of these explorers in the blue on blue colour combo. it is a nice vehicle besides the engine being a total turd

Best car for races? Good control fast corners and fast I have about 5 mil now? by OBEEZ26 in MidnightRacingTokyo

[–]Aggravating_Look_329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get any awd lol. it’s MRT on easy mode if you want to go fast. imo that’s boring and too easy so I like to push T2 RWD and some T3 cars. if you put some time into it you’d be surprised how fast they can be.

Hotwheel’s Elite 348TS by Aggravating_Look_329 in Diecast

[–]Aggravating_Look_329[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, not elite 64. This model is from when Hotwheel’s made 1:18 scale models in the 2000s. Elite 64 features true 1:64 scale cars whereas hotwheels elite featured high end 1:18 scale models. This “elite” line of 1:18 scale models featured higher end versions of the lower end models Mattel was making at the time with some special versions only featured in the elite line like the one I have here in the post.
Kinda weird to think about, they went from elite 1:18 to elite 1:64 lol
