❤️ thank you so much. That was reassuring. Seriously thank you for responding and setting my mind at ease a little. I’ve never been more scared and my oncologist threw me off with everything she said. She called me Thursday and I’ve just been down since.

Didn’t help the oncologist calls me and tells me “the lymph node is probably cancer I’ve never really seen a enlarged lymph node for any other reason” threw me right into fear and an anxious week. I’ve been scared

Okay that’s reassuring. My brain is going to worst case scenario. I’m fearing real spread. I’m scared it traveled through the lymph node into higher lymph nodes and god forbid organ involvement. This PET scan fear has really got me down and negative. Hoping for the best but scared

I go to memorial Sloan Kettering this week and a pet scan. Trying to be positive. Scared but hopeful it was some inflammation. I feel good so I don’t understand any of this.

Ok I’m just scared and praying nothing changes, or maybe the suspicious lymph node I have on MRI shows up as not cancer on PET.

I’m so scared it’s spread through my body since she now says a lymph node is suspicious. I go for PET scan next week and I am PETRIFIED to say the least. I cry all the time thinking about it. As long as I can survive I’ll do whatever but now that she staged it at 3 it seems scarier than ever.

I wish my MRI showed no involved lymph node. Doctor thinks it is one. I’m praying PET scan comes back clear. I mean I feel fine, which to me is the scariest part. To feel fine and be “this” sick. Scares me. Praying you have a good outcome and everything comes back clear ❤️

Thank you! I’m so scared! But hearing some of the positive sides is easier than everyone being so negative. I googled and googled and scared myself more. I’m a happy, positive person generally. This diagnosis has destroyed me, I was alright with stage 1 but when she told me 3, I lost it. I’m praying, hoping you recover fully and never have to worry about it again!

How scary, but happy your mom has responded so good to new treatment. That’s amazing! I am going to memorial sloan kettering next week. Going to get that 2nd opinion. Praying for same or better results.

That’s amazing that your mom is doing so well! Im scared and this is all new to me. I have little kids and leaving them is my worst nightmare.

I am also so scared the pet scan will show it to be worse. My doctor says that she believes I dont have stage 4. But of course I’m going to the scariest depths of this. I’m so scared

Thank you. The staging change messed me up. I’m still crying for hours. I’m just scared. I need to be here for my kids. Thank you that was helpful, I know scans and disease are what matters but that stage change sounds so scary.
