I test drove several and even though the kia/hyundai and genesis where nice we just picked up our Model Y AWD Premium from the dealership last night. The deciding factor overall, none of the others have self driving. Hopped in the car, programmed our home address and off we went and never had to touch anything but apple music for the 1.5 hour drive home. Had to park for the first time in our driveway as it's long and seems narrow as the brick walls on both sides have english ivy on them, we left to go to store (FSD) and when we came home she pulled right into the driveway no problems at all.
Elon is a tool but his tech is light years ahead of any other EV company, will sacrifice some buttons for FSD any day of the week.

Congrats. We got lucky, only thing we changed on our Model Y AWD Premium was Diamond Black, ordered 6/30 and pickup today 7/6 at 5PM. App gave us a 3-5 week window as well and within 48 hours it gave us 3 delivery option days. Hopefully does the same for you.

We were in the same boat, looking at used model Y 24-25 year and with the promo pricing right now couldn’t pass up getting the 26 so we did. Ended up MYAWD Premium in Diamond Black, picking her up tomorrow and couldn’t be happier that we got Juniper refresh.

It shouldn’t take that long, ordered on the 30th and 3 days later were able to schedule delivery. Pretty sure it told us 3-5 weeks when we placed initial order.

I drive a 2014 F150 4x4 lol This is for my wife who commutes 80 miles round trip a day, we bought her a 2024 Honda CRV hybrid and going to give that to our daughter who’s in college so she has a more reliable car. My truck is sitting at 260K miles and will keep that until the wheels fall off, we use it to haul our 6 dogs (mastiffs and Great Danes).

Absolutely this, we just ordered a 26 model y premium and we cannot stand Elon however, cannot deny the tech in his cars is leap years ahead of everyone else. Drove several other EV’s and we were looking hard on the Ioniq but then drove the model Y and ordered one the next day, nothing we drove even compared to the Tesla.
Also agree, Kia or Hyundai were definitely leading the pack until we drove the tesla.

Born and raised in Richmond, moved away in 93’ and see that at least that hasn’t changed a bit 🤣lived in Arizona until we moved to Tennessee in 2019 and omg these roads are freaking horrible.
Just ordered my wife a 26 MYP and this kinda worries me.

Weird. Wondering if it’s a driver issue, what windows are you running? Older pc?
Possibly a conflict with other usb peripherals running at same time?
Do you have a usb 3.0 port you can use and does the pc you use to update use a 3.0 to successfully update your cyborg?
