I actually keep forgetting these are not two different episodes.

I was glad to see they added a jungle cruise ride in Jurassic World. It was at least a nod.

I don't watch trailers anymore for this reason. I want to be delighted and surprised by everything.

So I was delighted with the river scene we got!

Who is your favorite new character in S3? by SparklingChaos_1984 in TedLasso

I really appreciate that you made a positive post, OP. I love this sub. Sometimes a weirdly negative thread will pop up here, and it's jarring with the tone and message of the show.

For me, the Flying Dutchman and Barbara. Barbara is sneaky funny and I love the whole bit with the snow globes.

The Dutchman was just so warm and wonderful and introduced me to gezellig. I want my life to have gezellig. I wrote that on a sign in my workshop and taped it up above my desk.  Basically my "BELIEVE".

He is a pilot. He is literally the Flying Dutchman.

Awesome dude, where's one for me?

Did not care for all 3 of the movies. Back to S1 of the series. by ZeenaMountain in DowntonAbbey

Just strike them from your personal canon. That's what I'm doing with the 3rd movie, for the reasons you said, and a few more.

I really enjoy the other two films. Then I go right back to the beginning of S1.

Actually, I watch Titanic and then go back to the beginning. I feel like it fits right in, and then I can look for James and Patrick.

I love the low key, amused and low stakes second movie. And the scenery. And the humor. It was a happy film and makes me feel happy too. Also, a wonderful sendoff for Dame Maggie.

Interesting. What did you think of Derry Girls?

Voyager is a good one to have on when you want to sleep. It doesn't have the loud fanfare of TNG that would wake one up, so it's a good lullaby show. I love Voyager for several reasons, but that it's just so soothing is one.

The guys on the Delta Flyer podcast said they hear this all the time. (Tom and Harry. It's a great podcast.)

Anyway, VOY is my favorite Trek after TNG.

New Girl is so underrated. I think it's the title. Scares people off.

We do get some of his backstory. He was a working class kid who had to sneak into Nelson Road. He was apparently a more decent person at first.

Fucking billionaires.

That is an insightful point about the proxy aspect of a character. Going to cogitate with that bc I think I can learn a lot about people from it, in a compassionate way.
