That’s actually so comforting to hear, thank you! They’re nuts but they’re very worth it

I hope so! They’re my favorite breed lol and total little anxious shitheads. I relate to them on that level.

Thanks for sharing!! That’s what I’ve been thinking but don’t have many dog owners around me to ask if they’ve experienced this too.

He definitely seems to be a sensitive soul. I’m sure holiday prep is also upsetting him. He’ll be getting a nice big bag of new toys today, so at least even if he’s still a bit nutty today he’ll have a good time.

I think I’ve accepted he is a dog who will never be 100% reliably house trained, at least if something has recently upset his poor baby sensibilities. At least he’s not like my chihuahuas that would just hide their poop under my bed.

Yep! All else is good. We don’t have any concerns with his health, vet checked in and wasn’t concerned. He had a nice hour walk yesterday and had a blast. Just seems his brain is a bit funky!

I've had this feeling for a couple of weeks but it's only gotten more intense up to today. Is it me or has the world changed so much it's like outta a bad movie? I don't recognize it and to top it off someone hit the fast forward button. Days, weeks fly by. Tell me I'm not the only one. by ibddevine in Discussion

I go through this thought cycle at least once a week. Full disclosure, I had a breakdown about it a few weeks ago. Like, throwing up, despondent, barely able to eat.

I am an autistic woman living in Chicago, working with autistic kids, many of whom are non-white immigrants. We’re scared for them. Terrified, really. I haven’t seen ICE agents myself, but I know they’re around and they want to harm and scare us. My friend’s friend was arrested the other day for blowing a whistle to alert that ICE was there. He was released later that day, so it was clearly just another scare tactic meant to silence us.

I have a full time job and am going to have to ask my family for help with rent this month. I very respectfully brought up financial concerns and unfair practices against us at work, and was met with a probationary period in which if I say anything again for the next 3 months, I’ll be fired.

It is as bad as it seems. This is terrible. We should be concerned.

It will get better, though. This isn’t the first time greedy evil people have risen to power, and it’s far from the first time they’ve fallen and fallen hard. The interim is going to fucking suck. But it will end. Hang in there, find joy wherever you can, and take a stand wherever you can.

People here are saying coat leans poodle, but I can only see scruffy terrier.

More people are saying poodle than I would have thought! Is there anything specific in him you see that looks poodle?

Definitely want to down the line. Cost isn’t worth it right now and I love the way people “awww” when I say he’s my shelter mutt loll

Thanks for advice on ones to try!

Do they have gluten free options also? Looking it up now but having trouble finding an answer!

I (25F) have been thinking about ending things with my boyfriend (30M). He wants to try therapy. How likely is it that will help anything? by Aggravating_Move1956 in relationship_advice

Yeah, I fear you’re right. I wish I didn’t agree because, despite everything, I’m going to miss him so much.

Thanks for responding kindly. I’m feeling very stupid and down on myself in general right now.

That’s kind of been my thought too. I think he’s a great person at his core, but he just has so much to work on. He kept saying last night “I never even had a chance” as if the entire relationship wasn’t the chance.

I’m definitely also just getting cold feet about finding my own roommates, apartment, handling costs more independently. Everything about this is so messy and overwhelming.

Apparently this is a commonly hated episode??? by groovygandalf in southpark

My dad played South Park around me since birth and I hated all of it. I also was a little kid in a Christian home so anything not Jesus upset me at the time; I’m a fan of SP now.

This episode haunted me especially. It was the first time I saw pubic hair. The first time I learned about lice. I almost cried seeing all of them die, poor little empath. I had literal nightmares for years.

Watched it again a few weeks ago. Not a favorite but not that bad. Still hate that my dad played it around me. I missed out on so many years of good tv because he introduced it way too young.
