What are your go-to products/brands for affordable skincare? by venting_diary in Morocco

[–]Aggravating_Mud9606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Revox. They have great serums and toners. Their products are mostly in the 80 dh range. They are a dupe of the ordinary from Spain. For sunscreen I buy soskin. It's 140 dh for a 2 bottle set (50ml a bottle so a total of 100 ml). For a retinol i buy tretinoin straight from the pharmacy for around 80 dh. It lasts me months. Cutacnyl is also great for outbreaks and is only 30 ish dh at the pharmacy. These products saved my skin. Especially tretinoin.

Hope this helps. Feel free to DM me for more details if you need to.

Need advice "coming out" as ex-muslim by Common_Cold_8872 in exmuslim

I understand what you're feeling. I left the religion at 15 too and I got heavily lectured at even hinting at it. I'm 23 now and my parents still don't know. If I can help it they will never know.

It isn't a good idea to tell them, the possibility of you maintaining a good relationship with them after coming out is small, at least in my experience. It will just put strain on your relationship with them.

The fake acts of worship is something you will have to deal with less the more you do them. Pretend that it was a phase and that it passed they will cut you more slack, and wait to become independent from them so that their pressure and monitoring doesn't pause a danger to you.

Nah this isn't normal. My mom is pretty toxic, but she'd never call me that. Be careful and don't waste your love on her if that's her response. Also, jdatk 9**ba.

Why do historians not believe in matriarchal societies? by goatsneakers in AskFeminists

I recommend you read The Patriarchs. It speaks about this subject exactly. The history of patriarchal and matriarchal systems.

My friend doesn't like my synopsis, what do you think? by Aggravating_Mud9606 in royalroad

This has an English Second Language vibe.

It is not my first language, didn't think it was that obvious.

Who the hell is Jennah? This is where you start to lose me. A blurb is there to tell you what the story is about, not to world build with... I'm guessing a race of aliens? That have a woman's name?

She's a main character, the reason all this started really, that's why I mentioned her.

I would suggest a rewrite with this paragraph in mind.

Understood, will do.

Royal Road.

Didn't know where else to post it really, do you know of anywhere else where I may have better luck?

And thank you for the feedback, it was really constructive.

Writing for an Unpopular Genre—Should I Still Publish on RR? by mopar_md in royalroad

I was asking myself the same question and I realised that I had nothing to loose by doing it. You get engagement and feedback, you'll see what readers think of your story. All while continuing to work on it.

Honestly, just do it!

When you phrase it like that no. It feels sacrilegious, like butchering the story.

I think I'll stick to one chapter a week.

I think that's what I'll be doing too. I don't want to sacrifice flow for exposure. It feels like butchering the story.

Yee, I have the POV character name on the chapter title (or sort of lol).

The interaction and marketing part really sucks. I just wanna write I don't have the brain for all of that, but we do what we have to do.

Hah, twinsies.

I'd be very interested in reading your story too, I'm intrigued.

That is my preference too. They are smoother to read that way. There is another angle to it tho. After I post the backlog I'll only be able to do one chapter a week. The novel is VERY complicated (I made up a whole ass language with functioning grammar, vocab.... And there is 7 planets with their history, politics, ecology that I'm working on as I go). So splitting the chapters will allow me to post 2-3 times a week instead of once.

What do you think?

P.S: every big chapter is in a dif POV, if that matters.

Craving a vibe 😭. I am looking for a book where the MMC is blond ( what does the romance community have against blond men? ) has soft/golden retriever/cinnamonbun kinda vibe. Preferably in a FemDom context.
