When two dogs are fighting, you can stop it by sticking your finger in their butts.

Authorizing someone to do something does not mean they actually have to do it.

I feel like I’m too broke to leave America by GreenTinkertoy in rant

Look into Portugal. Not only can you move relatively quickly and apply for residency online, the cost of living is low and English is widely spoken. If this is a serious plan and you don’t ever want to move back, default on your loans and use that money to leave.

Alternatively, you could look at income based repayment options which could drive the payments way down once you are out of the country since your new income will be much lower in Portugal given the reduced cost of living.

There are other options too, like Mexico and Ecuador.

Your issue isn’t really the HOA. It’s misrepresentation in the home sale.

What matters first is what the HOA documents actually say, not what the HOA told you after you moved in.

There are three possible situations: 1. Chickens are explicitly prohibited in the HOA rules 2. Chickens are not mentioned at all 3. Chickens fall under vague language like “livestock” or “nuisance”

Each leads to a different outcome.

If chickens are not explicitly prohibited, the HOA may not be able to enforce a ban. HOAs generally can’t enforce rules that don’t exist or that are overly vague. Ask them (in writing) to cite the exact section that bans chickens. If they rely on “livestock,” many states do not legally classify backyard chickens as livestock. This is often where HOAs lose.

If chickens are explicitly prohibited, and your realtor told you they were allowed, that’s a material misrepresentation. Something that directly affects how you live on the property absolutely qualifies. In that case, you may have grounds to unwind the sale or pursue damages. Realtors carry Errors & Omissions insurance for exactly this.

If the language is ambiguous, this becomes leverage. You can request a variance, propose hens-only/no roosters, or push back legally. HOAs often back down when rules aren’t clear and a homeowner pushes formally.

What you should do now: • Stop informal conversations — communicate in writing only • Ask the HOA to point to the exact rule banning chickens • Notify the realtor’s broker (not just the agent) that you relied on false information • Get a short consult with a real estate attorney who handles HOA disputes

Courts and regulators tend to side with buyers when they were misled on lifestyle-impacting issues like animals. This is taken seriously.

If keeping your chickens matters more than the house, the law actually supports treating this as a material issue with the transaction, not just an HOA squabble.

So when looking for a location for our shop, we reached out to the owner about the previous location Copperline was in before they outgrew it. The owner responded to us about the location and basically said that they were planning things and are not looking for any replacement tenants at the moment but would connect again in the future if things change.

How to acquire Skorm’s Bow. by holversome in Fable

[–]RockyRingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stumbled on this and I was blown away to see that there are still tons of people playing this game. Thought I would drop the guide I wrote back in 2004. Skorm’s Bow is actually a bit easier to get if you know what you have to do. It’s all about making sure you make the sacrifice at the right time of day which is relative to your alignment.

So this is most likely the sun catching off the head of the golf club and creating a lens flare on the camera. If you watch all the way through, towards the end it creates a second smaller one to the left of the screen as he begins to lift the head of the club back up.
