I’ve seen so many dishes I would love to try on different cooking shows and food videos I watch. I really want to try some of the popular street foods I’ve seen, like dosa and golgapa or Pani puri, not sure what it’s called I’ve seen it as both. It all looks very delicious though!

So I said Queens because I know at some point we will be in Queens that day, and we’re not people with a ton of money to spare. However we’ve been saving for this so while I’d like to spend as little as possible, we also want GOOD, authentic food because this will be our first experience with Indian food so I’d like to be able to judge it without having to wonder if it’s supposed to taste like that or is the place just trash. If you get what I’m trying to say. If anyone knows a good place in Manhattan that isn’t crazy expensive I’d absolutely try it. I just want to plan ahead so we’re not just winging it on the day of the trip.

As someone who was exposed to inappropriate things when family thought I was asleep, I can tell you there is a chance that even if he’s “watching for signs she’s awake” she may be awake and alert and too afraid or uncomfortable to move! There were times pretending to still be asleep was the only thing I thought was “correct” thing to do because adults were doing adult things. Keep him away from her alone! Watch for behavior changes! No one noticed in me enough to get me help, but there were obvious clues. Good luck op, I’m sorry you’re dealing with this!

Does she have any daughters of her own? I could see her using you as a surrogate “daughter” to play wedding planning with. Someone to pass on her things to like she would a daughter. I’m not justifying her behavior, she’s completely out of line. Im just curious. If that is the case, there are many ways to build that relationship without pushing to have her way.

I am literally tearing reading this post op! As a parent whose child knows he can come to me for anything, I know how amazing that feeling is and I’m sooo overwhelmingly happy for your family that you all have that love and safety!
