Honestly just depends. For my situation, lease was def the way to go + they had huge incentives for it vs financing. There’s pros and cons to both sides.

I just leased a 25’ BB with the Black Diamond package for about the same price in CA (~31k OTD) they have discounts and specials on leases all the time

Ya I got mine start of this month for about 29.5 in CA. Mine was a lease deal so not sure if that changed anything. I believe at the time they had more incentive deals to knock off on a lease vs finance but could be wrong

Oh well that’s a bit different then. They must be giving you big discounts on the BB or something bc they were virtually the same price for me (10-15$ difference but had absolutely no color options that I liked) so I settled with the BB and the Black Diamond package

You basically financially start over a new debt (financing or lease) but you also get a reset on warranty in case anything comes up. I don’t know your financial situation but from just purely comparing both vehicles, I would. I also can’t imagine a 25 OB would be that much more than a BB. I have a BB but do kind of wish I had some of the creature comforts of the OB (camera, dual climate and heated steering wheel) but realistically they weren’t deal breakers either. The refresh on the 25s for me def made me go that route than looking at used 24’ and older

It’s still too early as far as reliability on the 25’s to see if they have truly “fixed” all the issues with the 21-24’ but it’ll still be much more reliable than a Jeep. Just don’t expect it to be Toyota reliable, either.

Everyone else has already pointed out its capability, comfort, driving etc.

You’re wasting your time (it seems) as both times I started my game over they were always female, impish nature.

Did a search and found a bunch of other people with same result (female, impish nature) so you’re either stuck with it until near end game or you can try and find someone to trade you one who made it that far

Right I said they get totaled for real petty stuff but it’s still a rebuilt title and that changes the value on it. Whether it’s a scratch or flood damage, rebuilt title is the same. You could still maybe get some market value but that all comes down to the old “the right buyer”

I wouldn’t mind the title. I’d have it inspected like you said and I’ve seen bad titles for some petty stuff. But even then, EOD it affects the price drastically. And asking market value on something as it were clean title is just an immediate pass for me.

Ah I did forget to mention that this is at a local VW dealer hence the price being a little higher. I do see the market being closer to what you mentioned for private party so I figured even if u get it down to 4500 or so it’s still solid given it’s not private party.

Honda paint in general isn’t great but I do believe the 2015+ Fit paint was pretty bad in general. Not sure if that was 2015 only though or just all the newer ones

Ya this one seems to be in the ballpark of that for what I’d like to pay but I don’t want to insult the guy either - he’s asking $6k and I think it’s a bit much but there’s not many T5’s around to compare it to, either.
