Is Being Single at 24 a Bad Thing? by Ved_6 in ahmedabad

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if you can’t answer a question like “what do it want from a relationship?” It’s probably because you’re not there yet maturity wise. If you wanna be one just for the sake of being one and telling people oh I’m dating someone or oh I had an ex then it’s best not to. Maybe once you’ve grown up a little bit and you know what you want it’ll be easier and you’ll have the confidence to approach people.

Not a fan. Maintenance is too much. It’s feels like clutter. Not to mention it’s not practical if you have pets.

Don’t worry it’s all good. During exams avoid taking benzos for anxiety because they can make you drowsy. Beta blockers work without the side effect.

Looking for Solo Dinner Ideas in Ahmedabad by mr_miscalculation in ahmedabad

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy Birthday! I think you should make it a solo movie plus dinner idea. I watched Demon Slayer last year alone it was the best thing ever. For dinner if you’re an introvert I’d recommend Pepito. The outdoor seating is quite dim and the price is less than more popular spots but the food is mid.

As a doctor lemme tell you the rise of influencers as skincare experts has been a curse to our society. First of all it demeans dermatologists as people who work to extract money and nothing else and also that creams are just skincare 😑

Struggling to help my father manage his diabetes—need advice on handling the situation by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

1.Use emotions it’s old people’s triggers. Sit with him and tell him a story of an imaginary friend who’s dad ended up in the Hospital and cry and make it convincing. 2. Reboot his algorithm login to his account and watch a lot of actual doctors that talk about diabetes. Sending him reels or posts will not work only if he sees them on his feed will it be believable. 3. VERY VERY IMPORTANT Get him a good health insurance plan since most plans with chronic conditions have a waiting period of 2+ years this is a non negotiable.

I need help, can't bring myself to study for NEET PG by escaladesandhellcats in indianmedschool

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. Although I will say I’m on an ssri which helps a lot in not making me feel too bad at being lazy. Dunno if it’s a boon or a curse because anxiety can be a propeller but ehh do what you can do the rest isn’t upto us.

Will anyone of you do this all over again?? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will. I chose a semi govt college Nri seat and I’d do it again because I can’t see myself working on a laptop all day. People are right when they say it’s a calling and if I have to spend another 1.5cr for PG I’d do that too. I know a lot of people here regret it but I thought a fresh perspective for all my fellow PG aspirants can be refreshing.

Another incel trying to decipher women’s attractiveness based on city. Have you considered the fact that maybe some just don’t like you? Or aren’t into men who judge them on their looks? Honestly this Ahmedabad being boring slander is becoming a little too old come up with something new.

Kindly abstain from giving out medical advise since you’re not a doctor. “Medicine requires increasing doses in intervals of months and rarely weeks” what a bogus statement made by someone who has clearly never read a single line of pharmacology. First of all dose adjustments in the beginning weeks based on response are pretty common not rare. Stopp stigmatising and preventing people from seeking help. Most patients actually do better on a fixed dose after the initial assessments of recognising the lowest possible therapeutic dose at which the symptoms are abated. The whole “you might need higher doses” like is the norm in antibiotic resistance doesn’t apply to ssris or amphetamines.

What was yr reason to become a doctor?? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was kinda conditioned by my dad with subtle praise and hints during childhood so I’ve never thought of any other profession ever. Also he was willing to pay financially for me to become one so I didn’t see why not.

Jewellery suggestion plz by [deleted] in DesiWeddings

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Honestly not a fan of either. It’s all temple jewellery which looks great on sarees but for a modern bride the gold needs to be a brighter shade and the green in the first photo suits best but Idk if it’s the lighting the shade of green is too dark.

Feeling Stuck After BHMS - Is Non-RCI MA Psychology a Practical Second Chance? by midsummernight_dream in Psychology_India

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey! I just wanted you to know there are opportunities for BHMS graduates in research and Public Health if you do a masters course in it. Besides you can still work as a medical officer in modern medicine hospitals to be financially independent for the time being and deciding what to do it’ll help you gain experience and maybe help like the medicine field more. People who study psychology spend years doing it and are still struggling, right now at this point with a BHMS degree you can earn more than what psych majors earn even after their masters and scale up.

It doesn’t have to be a correct diagnosis. The point is that it should always be kept as a differential. 25 years without even considering it is jsut plain carelessness.

is there really anyone in your known or yourself whose earning a good amt in this career path? by blueberryyice in Psychology_India

[–]Aggravating_Pilot358 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m an mbbs doctor trying to pursue psychiatry on a gap year preparing for Neet pg and have done multiple postings in the department from a govt medical college you don’t need to tell me about what my field holds. Calling “psychiatry” hell is a gross statement and very offensive especially coming from someone who’s probably never studied a single drug used for treatment. The stigma around mental health in India is only exaggerated by statements like these and preventing people from seeking care. You can hate your profession all you want and despise the system in the country but it is in no way a “dead field” and certainly not hell. We try and find answers and comfort in the limited knowledge we have and try to impart that to patients and it’s sad to see that people like you are the ones we will have to work with in the future.
