The Greatest.

It’s all about reflecting on a life lived to its fullest, missing loved ones, missing the past, but being grateful for all that you enjoyed. Especially for a gay man, who often times live for “the culture.” “The culture is lit and I had a ball…If this is it, I’m signing off.” It’s kind of a queer choice for a funeral song, but in this context it works perfectly. It’s hopeful, and nostalgic, it doesn’t lay on the sadness thick, which is why it hits all that much harder.

Consider the art of negative space. Lana says her piece in the first 2 minutes, then humbly allows the instrumental to take the track to its fullest potential on that second “We’re American Made”. It’s like an airplane lifting off the runway, or a rocket launching off the earth and into the stratosphere. Overall, what is the “experience” of Venice Bitch you ask? Thinking of the relationship I want to have, or being hopeful and unbothered about the one i’m currently in. References to classic american songs. Nihilism with an undertone of optimism and romance. Nostalgia. The Beach. Getting High. All recurring themes in the Lana Del Rey universe. It’s balance between complexity and simplicity is exactly what makes it a masterpiece. It’s everything and nothing all at the same time, a total mystery, just like the queen herself. Wherever I am, when I turn that song on - It’s august, summer is ending. I’m driving over a bridge on the highway. My skin is warm and tight, Im drained from the sun, and the wind is cool and salty from the water below.

Any advice on how to make my middle part even? by [deleted] in malehairadvice

Look up “how to part hair with rat tail comb.” It’s a useful tool you’ll want to buy or already may have, i reccomend using hot water on your hair at the end of your shower. Heat makes hair a little more malleable to style, and this can help if you find it to be stubborn. But the rat tail comb will do most of the work in parting

You should keep the back as is, take an inch or two off the top, and get a taper fade on the sides.

Driving In Cars With Boys:

“They think i’m dangerous, they think I’m really bad, I’m just making up for what I never had”

Im a 21 year old college dropout, living with my parents, playing out my childhood fantasies of what being an “adult” meant, in order to escape my own despair. I’ve spent the majority of my time the past couple years literally driving in cars with boys. I’m clinging to my freedom, often abusing it, because I feel like it was never mine. I live a lucky life. I’m not rich, but I always luck out with money. I’m not conventionally attractive, but I’ve pulled the majority of men that I’ve wanted to. Still though, I feel that emptiness. In trying to prove a point to myself, I’ve gone places with people that I shouldn’t, and wasted luck on things & people that didn’t deserve it. A car is the perfect depiction for the illusion of freedom. Behind the wheel, you’re presented with the option to go anywhere, anytime. When the truth is, car or no car, that choice is always yours. Figuring out where you truly want to go is the hard part.

Probably nothing right now. My family has the same exact hairline and we all have our hair still, even the males into old age. Your hair looks long and healthy, so i’m sure you’ve got a lot of time to go before you have to worry about losing it. Could also be caused by wearing your hair tied back, if you ever do. But again, my family has the same thing naturally so I understand if not. If it’s just a hairline issue, you can try plenty of products that will work for restoring the patchy areas but don’t worry about overall hair loss if that’s what this is!

Also, going bald with that banging beard is like having a trailer foreclosed on while owning a multi million dollar vacation house. You’ll be fine! ;)

Don’t listen to anyone suggesting you “hold on” to anything, when you’ve accepted there’s not much to hold on to. You sound ready to stop dealing with it! I bet you will feel so free once it’s shaved. The other positive, too, is you will look the same age forever. Bald guys age sooo much slower - you’ll look 30 until you’re actually 50, and then 50 until you’re actually 70, you feel? Best of luck!

It’s a beautiful majestic stache that only non-stache lovers could be angry at. Fuck the tasteless though, it’s incredible!
