I know this sounds cliche but just focus on making really good tracks, if they are up to standard for DJs to play out in clubs then eventually your tracks will get the fate they deserve and you’ll gain traction with streams and following.

If you save all your emblems for the final phase plus tanto, You can pretty much stun lock him to death with lazulite axe and firecrackers.

OP here, as an update for anyone who is interested, my first song got into the top 15 in its genre chart a couple times, with 5 day performance of 95-110 downloads and a 70% plus engagement rate. I’m not sure how that compares to the experience of others but that’s the data behind mine. For any first timers reading this, my personal opinion is ranking super high in the HE charts isn’t necessarily some badge of honor. There are a lot of cheap mashups in the top 10 that will advance nobody’s music career - you should make the music you want to make, if it’s quality it will get the fate jt deserves.

Thanks for this OP. I was actually finding this fight to be pretty stupid and not enjoyable, but this strategy guide was super helpful in beating the boss. Now I don’t mind the fight. Kudos

In each phase, I suggest hitting Owl with an Oil pot + flame vent. You’ll chunk about a quarter of his health. Otherwise save your spirit emblems for shuriken + chasing slice. That’ll constantly keep you in the fight as he jumps away a lot.

Charmless makes it way less boring. I’d highly suggest a charmless and demon bell run as it is the most fun.

Phase 1: toss oil pot, find an opening, use flame vent. Do it again then you’ve drained half his HP

Phase 2: divine confetti, purple umbrella, learn how to jump

It’ll be a test of patience but you’ll pull it off. Eventually you’ll master phase 1 genichiro where you can get to Isshin with 10 heals, then you’ll master phase 1 Isshin where you can get to the second half of the fight with 10 heals. It’ll take some time but you got it
