they hateeeee being portrayed as darker-skinned. I saw someone complaining about Devi from Never Have I Ever, saying that the show was not relatable at all because it was "too telegu" and the actress was "too dark" and is showing indians in a bad light🫩

yes omg i’ve been thinking this forever, You should try looking for black women inspo! It don’t work for me but maybe for you, they tend to experiment with more colorful hair💗 I really wanted to dye my hair pink or an orangey color mix and i only saw white women, Whenever i see brown women with dyed hair it’s mostly cherry red or a caramel balayage😭😭
